A colourful start to the day is reflected in the pools of the Tessellated Pavement, captured here by @speers_images. A geological oddity formed by thousands of years of tidal erosion, the Tessellated Pavement is one of a number of natural attractions on the Tasman Peninsula. Located 90 minutes south-east of @HobartandBeyond, the 'Tasman' is the perfect location for a leisurely day trip. Better still, spend a few days and explore! ๐Ÿš—๐ŸŒ… ๐Ÿ“ท Thanks for tagging #discovertasmania, Adrian. #seeaustralia #hobartandbeyond

Stop for a moment and smell the... daffodils?ย  With Tassie spring in full-swing, you can't help but notice the endless fields of colour popping up across the state. Tulips, daffodils, and plenty of native blossoms too! This little wallaby on Bruny Island showed @wayno_neill the way to Adventure Bay to showoff some of the colourful fields and gardens that you might discover when exploring @hobartandbeyond. Thanks for tagging us in, Wayne!ย ๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒธย #hobartandbeyond #discovertasmania

Spring skies and an afternoon breeze paint a picture-perfect scene in itsjustincredible_'s shot of @hobartandbeyond's Richmond Bridge. Located a scenic 30-minute drive from Tassie's capital, Richmond is a picture-perfect historic village in the heart of the Coal River Valley wine region. The town's iconic bridge, built by convicts in the 1820s, is the oldest bridge still in use in Australia. ๐Ÿ“œ ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿš™ Thanks for tagging #discovertasmania, Justin! #seeaustralia #hobartandbeyond

Stop for a moment and picture yourself here! Cool spring evening air, gently lapping waves, and a sky of endless dancing beams! @James.garlick snapped this magic scene of our Aurora Australis lighting up the shores of @hobartandbeyond, as seen from Howrah Beach. It's a scene that only a lucky (and patient) few ever witness, but is a view we never tire of seeing. Thanks for tagging #discovertasmania, James!ย ๐ŸŒŒ๐Ÿ’šย #hobartandbeyond

Flying high over the pink granite cliffs of the Freycinet Peninsula with @kirkjrichards. This special spot on @eastcoasttasmania is home to one of Tassie's most cherished national parks - Freycinet National Park - and is the ultimate showcase of the landscapes, beaches and vistas for which the East Coast has become so well known. Go on - add it to your bucket list! ๐Ÿ™Œ โ›ฐ โ˜€๏ธ Thanks for tagging #discovertasmania, Kirk!

Good morning Hobart! A Monday doesn't look too bad when it starts like this. @Katypotaty77 captured this golden-sky stunner while on an early morning walk along @hobartandbeyond's Constitution Dock. The waterfront area is a hub for delicious dining experiences, beautiful accomodation, boutique bars and of course, views that just can't be beaten! Thanks for tagging #discovertasmania, Katy!ย ๐ŸŒ…๐Ÿ›ฅ๐Ÿฅ‚

On the lookout with a forester kangaroo on the rolling plains of Maria Island. @Hamishlshots_ caught this little beauty standing at attention, taking in the sprawling views that Tassie's island national park has become so well known for. If you're lucky enough to visit the island, keep an eye out for the ample wildlife (and their spring babies) roaming the lawns near Darlington, particularly in the late afternoon and early morning.ย ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒ…๐Ÿฃย Thanks for tagging #discovertasmania, Hamish!

Spring may be here, but that doesn't mean we aren't able to celebrate the last lingering signs of winter in some of Tassie's alpine areas. @Samhbarnard captured this great shot of one of the alpine ski cabins at Ben Lomond National Park while exploring the @northerntasmania icon. The mountain is a favourite for snow-sport enthusiasts during the winter months, but also offers plenty to discover during the warmer months of the year. Another pastel sunset settles over Hobart's kunanyi / Mount Wellington, captured just in time byย @evrythng.is. @Hobartandbeyond is regularly described as one of the world's most picturesque waterfront cities, with heritage charm and a contemporary art and dining scene. Take some time to explore and there will be no denying its magic.ย ๐Ÿ˜ย ๐Ÿ” Thanks for tagging #discovertasmania,ย Benjamin. #seeaustralia #hobartandbeyond

Exploring the twisting trails of the Cradle Plateau and the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area with @grahamnking. In the distance is Barn Bluff, one of the first landmarks you'll encounter on the Overland Track - a 6-day, 65 kilometre wilderness trek that takes you into the heart of @visitcradlecoast's world-famous wilderness. Get those walking shoes ready!ย ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿ“ท โ›ฐ Thanks for tagging #discovertasmania, Graham! #seeaustralia #cradlecoast #tasmaniaparks

How alluring does Wineglass Bay look here? @Kirkjrichards took this winning shot on a scenic flight over Freycinet National Park, which is just a 2.5hr drive from Hobart. You can view Wineglass Bay from several vantage points - the air, the main lookout, the summit of Mt Amos, an a day cruise or even strolling along the white sand beach itself. Take your pick!ย ๐Ÿ™Œ ๐Ÿ’ฆ ๐Ÿ‘ฃย Thanks for tagging #discovertasmania, Kirk. #eastcoasttasmania #seeaustralia

"Oh hey there cutie!" It looks like we aren't the only ones who think this snow-dusted wombat is totally adorable... @Nickhanson snapped this little guy checking out his own reflection in an icy tarn in Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. And how could you blame him? The park is one of the best spots in Tassie to see these furry little fellows, especially around buttongrass plains of Ronny Creek.ย  Thanks for tagging #discovertasmania, Nick!ย ๐Ÿ˜โ„๏ธ๐ŸŒ„
