We've all had situationships right? Just trying to "do the right thing". By what standard though? I've never been the throw in the towel quickly type of person with anything in life. However! Who said my complete unwavering happiness wasn't important? Who said?!! With a whole lot of gut, ambition, and beggin prayers (not for someone) but for guidance, I decided to put ME first!! As a mom, that's the hardest thing to do right?! But if you know ANYTHING about raising children, you know that YOU have to be good/stable in order to parent. They depended on me! My girls are watching, my son is too! Being in an unhealthy marriage was NOT the "right thing to do" just for the sake of both parents being in the household. So by the grace and mercy of GOD! I'm RE-SETTING examples for my children!!! How a woman should be treated, and how to treat and love a woman, among other things. Not that I have all things figured out, or have it perfect, but once I got control of my life, and FOLLOWED what I prayed for, I was shown NOT to settle. Nothing compares to the feeling of knowing that my children are proud of their mom!😢For the cherry on top---I have a wonderful PARTNER!! (We can shout now church!) who supports me, AND my children, who I can be ME with!! I'm SO GRATEFUL that I STILL believe in LoVe! Love, share, be unselfish, give, and partner, now, for all the right reasons. Always ❤️ #TestimonyTuesday .
