Elizabeth Chenock ( @rabbo22 ) shows us how it’s done with her journey in the past year #250kchallenge ! 💚 She’s been through a lot and here’s what she has to say:
-
“I have come so far in one years time!!! Last year I weighed 190lbs and I was only able to lose 33lbs in 12weeks time in 2017. So I continued. I had a brand new baby, I am in a Master’s degree program at Cleveland State University, I am dealing with some serious family issues, but I used the gym to my advantage and also to help keep me sane and destress. With my current situation for this challenge, I went to the gym once a day 6 days a week, sometimes 7. I have one sitter, and no family here to help me with child care. I did my BEST with what I could do, I did bootcamps when I could and if I had extra money I spent it on a session with a trainer at my small gym where I belong too. I am so thankful for Nina Nam ( @theninanam ) , I read her book and I took every bit of advice I could from Kiley( @kileyjonesd ) and Glenn ( @geelove00 )who won last year. These are the moments I’m thankful for. People who don’t even know me, to help me, message me on a personal level, be active and just so supportive when I had little support in my own home literally pushed me to finish this challenge!!!!! I am crying as I write this message because I have a new found love for health and fitness and I want to continue my journey as I did last year. I WANT ABS and even though I have not hired a trainer to be completely active and on me I’m losing a steady 2-3% body fat each month and I WILL NOT STOP until I get to my dream body of no cellulite and a tight six pak!!! Trust the process, trust it takes time, trust that if you take pictures and keep track even though you may think you don’t see a difference there will be!! Thank you, and I wish everyone health and happiness in their fitness journeys.”

Marcus Ray ( @marcus_ray )absolutely killed it in this year’s #250kchallenge

Day 84! The end of the #250kchallenge2018 is here, however this journey and lifestyle must go on because I feel GREAT!! I met my weight goal (221.3) and got very close to my body fat percentage goal (13%). I couldn’t be more excited to see everyones transformation. “Well here they are, my final pics of the #250kchallenge2018 No matter what the outcome of this competition and who receives the grand prizes or runner up prizes, I can honestly say this contest has made winners of us all who have participated and stuck it out to the end. I have seen so many amazing transformations, a lot more than I imagined. I cannot believe how many of us dedicated ourselves to this and came out on top. I feel amazing, confident, strong and like I got my second wind in my lifetime to continue this journey. This was only possible through the strength, positivity, motivation and inspirations others have given me. So thank you to all my followers on Instagram who enjoyed watching my journey thus far, my coworkers who constantly held great workouts and help push me through them, @shepherdsmen who allowed me to be apart of a team with a greater purpose, my workout partner of course @mccomistimothy who help me change things up and make me stronger with great knowledge and inspiration, and last but not least my wife @instablonder who from day one believed in me and supported me in every way and now herself is striving to start bodybuilding because she loves what it has done to me and the drive it gave me. So thank you @bodybuildingcom and @optimumnutrition for the spark that got me started and continue this journey. This is just the end of a challenge not the end of my journey, now that I know the potential I still have, I can't wait to see what else I can do. So expect to see me continue posting more and new things. Next step is get my PT certification and start from there.

Mary Kathryn ( @mary_k_bryant ) shares with her transformation from last year and this year. Doesn’t she look absolutely stunning?
Here’s some of what she shares with us:
-
“Let me get really real for a second...when I started the #250kchallenge last year I was sitting at my absolute HEAVIEST weight EVER 😔 (even heavier then when I gave birth 😬) I was 181lbs, and my body fat % was through the roof!! I was depressed, I was insecure, and I wanted SO badly to feel like “myself” again. Like I mentioned in an earlier post, I didn’t finish last year...I got down to around 155lbs but ended up quitting for the 5th time. I have been SO ASHAMED of those pictures and have only shown them to a few people in my closest circle. I NEVER thought I’d ever share them publicly and voluntarily 🙅🏼‍♀️ These last 2 weeks in the #250kchallenge2018 have been extra hard. I haven’t seen the scale move in over 4 weeks and I’ve been physically and emotionally EXHAUSTED...I’ve cried, I ate WAY off my plan the last 2 days, and I’ve had some serious thoughts about quitting. I was digging through storage today when I found this swimsuit and decided to try it on. All I could do was cry 😭 but this time they were proud tears, tears of accomplishment! I will not quit and i will finish works 💪🏼 For the other challengers out there, you all have been so inspiring and I can’t thank u all enough for keeping it real and helping those of us who might be struggling I’m not where I wanna be yet, but I’m getting there!!!! @250kchallenge @active.with.amber @geelove00 @theninanam you three have been THE BEST!! Thank you all so much for EVERYTHING!!!”

A personal favorite:
Amy Myer’s ( @amyer4 ) spectacular 12 week transformation in the #250kchallenge 👏🏻👏🏻 -
Here’s what Amy shares with us:
“12 weeks of dedication, discipline, and hard work. Not one day was easy. I knew what I was capable of and still won’t stop. This is a forever journey. Not temporary. I’m not going back, just forward. @250kchallenge
-
I split each body part for each day. I had fasted cardio towards the end and I ate lean proteins and veggies with carbs and fats at the appropriate times. I lifted VERY HEAVY. More than that it was making sure my meals were always eaten and I never missed a training day. I ate for my goals. What I did may not work for everyone as we are all different. No magic pills and no crazy supplements. Just discipline and the will to persevere. That being said, I am flattered that I’ve inspired so many. It’s truly the greatest feeling. I admire so many of you. This wasn’t easy by a long shot. Stay dedicated #fitfam

Special thanks to some very important people in my life. They showed support, love, assistance, and reminded me that what I was doing was worth it. Ultimately it came down to me and I decided to break the cycle. @jmyer0861 @fitnesspoynters @lovingmebeauty_rf @sarahlyn5 @n8torious621 @workoutanytimemtjuliet @annettekmcnamara

Jason Dean ( @okanaganjason ) lost 21 lbs of fat and packed 8 lbs of lean muscles during the 12 weeks of the #250kchallenge -
His story:
-
After 12 weeks, everything we initially didn’t believe was possible had happened, and all the programs became habit. -
Prior to 2008 I played sports year round, hit the gym a dozen times a year, ate absolute garbage, and burned it off with a teenager-like metabolism. Then like a bad song, between 2008 and 2018 I stopped playing sports, got into a car accident, got cancer, lost my job, my dad died, I had kids, and focused on my career and new family. Gradually over time I noticed I had difficulty tying my shoes, worsening sciatica symptoms, short breath from simple walks, and neck pain and headaches from poor posture. The only thing that didn’t change was my excuses for why I couldn’t take better care of myself. Someone once told me the definition of insanity is repeating the same thing and expecting different results. -
My wife, @kupkake_muscles_ , and I knew we had to make a change but didn’t know where to start, until I saw the ad for the 250kchallenge. I told my wife she could possibly win $100k; I got her attention. The next day we took our “Before” photos but were so embarrassed we almost didn’t post them. Next call was to beg our close friend and former bodybuilder @seismic405 to coach us. He created us personalized programs for meals, workouts, cardio and supplements, and fed us weekly with his infectious optimism that we could do this thing if we just stayed the course.
-
Immediately after our Final Photos on Saturday, we jumped into eating and drinking everything we had been avoiding. By Sunday morning we realized the impact of what we had really accomplished as we craved getting back to our new way of life. While we both still strive for continual improvement, we couldn’t deny we were already winners.

We quote him:
-
“Remember, nothing changes if nothing changes. 😉This has been an incredible, life changing experience. There are so many of you that I want to thank for motivating me and just being a part of my journey. It wasn't easy and I couldn't have done it alone. My wife @mrs_jessica_casey has been my biggest supporter and helper since day 1. There was a lot going on these past 3 months and it would not have been possible without her! The man that sent me the link to the challenge and got me excited about it in the first place @thedarlingsfitnessjourney. My training partner @j.seipelt. Photographer @theimpaktlab. All the awesome and motivational challengers, #bbcomambassador and #bbcom peeps I had the privilege of meeting at the Arnold @thatisdiep @khoafit @triciamartinez_fit @leaveittoweav @briancwalton78 @brittanywalton88 @newmrbrett @angelajonesr @margie_superstar @okayg_savage @jared.rex @__tiffit__ @hudsonje88 @the_real_kim_possible @shannon_ironaddict @jim_mosley. Here’s what she has to say:
-
“Exactly 12 weeks ago today, I told myself I wanted to look back on that day and be proud of my journey and what I’ve accomplished. These past 12 weeks have not been easy mentally, physically and emotionally, but if there is one thing I’m sure about is that it has been all worth it. I know that I gave all of me to this challenge and I am so proud of myself for sticking to it. I feel so much happier about so much in my life and feel so much stronger and healthier than i have in years. Julian Lee’s ( @julianlee1994) final submission for the #250kchallenge . He started this challenge weighing 220lbs at 20% bodyfat, and finished it at 164.4 lbs and 7% body fat. He lost a total of 56.6lbs and 13% body fat !
-
Here’s what he has to share with us: “Walking into this challenge I didn’t know what to expect from it, only that I was going to give this my everything, from diet, to training, to consistency. This is the result of zero excuses and 100% effort every step of the way. This is hands down the best I’ve felt about my body in my entire life, and I’ll be completely honest I didn’t even know that I was capable of pulling this off.
——
This challenge may be ending but my journey is far from over. Bodybuilding is more than just some contest for me, its a way of life and what I’m most passionate about. My fiancée and I transformed our bodies and our lives combined losing over 100lbs in just 12 weeks! As we continue to improve ourselves we’re going to help others do the same, everyone is capable of greatness and once somebody sees that spark in themselves it’s hard to put it back out. We’re blessed to have had this amazing opportunity and to have met so many amazing people along the way, good luck everybody it’s been an amazing (and exhausting) ride!”

Here’s Vaea Leka’s (@vaea_leka01) very impressive 12 week transformation.
His story:
“Week 12 of the 250kchallenge2018 completed 💪💯 This has been such a great opportunity to learn about ones body and mentally, emotionally get stronger. Through patience and working out smart, I've over come the injuries (torn L5 disc, torn pec last year) that held me back from accomplishing my fitness goals. These injuries still restrict me from doing exercises I love, but warming up and stretching helped me get some mobility so I was able to execute back and chest days with high volume sets.. I couldn't be more happier with my 3 month transformation, and am greatful for all the support I've received from family and friends 💙💯
.
.
.
Buy to whom I'm truly thankful for is my wife @tri24na for giving me the time to go to the gym and not letting my temper (blame the low calorie days lol) annoy her lol.. Love you and the kids HELLA 💙💯 .
.
.
So wish me LUCK guys, hopefully I've done enough to impress the judges to come out with the W💪💯🥇🏆 “
