New pattern is here! 🎆🎉 This is the Diagonals for Days top and it's my favorite garment to date. If you haven't already guessed, it uses corner-to-corner crochet to form the base of the shirt, and I also made an unconventional decision to add a knit ribbing 😳 instead of a crochet one! No worries though, because a crochet ribbing can just as easily be added to the body of the shirt!😎 .
And if this shirt looks familiar, just swipe once to see the previous incarnation, where stripes become chevrons! 😍 My first attempt at this shirt was months ago, but I'm glad I took the time to try different yarns and gain a better understanding of what types of yarns work for different types of projects. The white shirt, and the pattern for it, uses @woolandthegang Shiny Happy Cotton in their new Space Dye yarn, or what I call the Dalmatian yarn. It's super soft and the speckles give it just that extra bit of texture so it doesn't look like a regular ol' white t-shirt.
You can find the free pattern for size SM through the link in my profile👆 or on my blog (search for 'Diagonal for Days'), along with descriptions for the construction for other sizes. Exact instructions for sizes XS to XL are available as an inexpensive PDF and can be found on my Etsy or Ravelry shops! @1dogwoof
I hope you love this shirt as much as I do! 💞
