Hi, my name is Krista, and I like to punch things 😊

Back when I was a depressed and angsty teenager, I will admit to punching a few holes in my parents’ walls (sorry, mom and dad!). Luckily I’ve since found boxing, and it’s a much more publicly accepted way to punch things in public 😉

I have a lot to learn, but that’s what keeps it fun and interesting 🥊

PARK WORKOUT: GO! 🔥

All you’ll need is something to jump on and a little bit of space to do it.

Try it: Set an interval timer to 18 rounds of :10 and :30 second intervals, rest on the :10 ones and work REALLY hard on the :30 ones.

Go through these exercises:

1. Box jumps
2. Decline push ups w/ double knee touch
3. Speed step ups
4. Squat step ups
5. Burpee box jumps
6. V up in/outs •

3. Boxer push ups

I used to think I hated learning.
I left high school early and told my parents I never wanted to learn anything ever again.

What I realized later on is that I just never wanted anyone else to tell me what to learn.

I wanted to learn what *I* wanted. To be curious on my own terms.

One of 100+ things I love about bodyweight training: there are endless ways to make it more challenging. There are SO many skills to learn, and so many ways to mix it up.
I’ve been playing around on handstand canes again recently and finally got this fun elbow lever transfer! It needs some cleaning up, but I’m still happy about it 😊

As an athlete and personal trainer, I’m constantly on the move—whether it’s busting through a tough and sweaty HIIT workout, powering through a boxing or gymnastics class, or taking my dog on a hike, I don’t often stop moving.

I'm also a plant-based athlete, so I have to be very conscious of what I eat on a daily basis to make sure I’m recovered and energized enough for my next workout.
