I know I’m double posting, but bare with me while I pretend to be a serious poster about something important to me.
I’ve spent a lot of time off social media the past year mainly due to the constant negativity (for me) it can create. I’ve had jobs that go from 100 to 0 the moment a pessimistic person walks in. I’ve had friendships turn into a black hole where I’m not allowed to express any happiness at all. I understand life gets hard for everyone, but I think it’s important to remember that negativity is absolutely a domino effect and it WILL impact everyone around you. I will always stand by the idea that it’s more beneficial to talk about the things you love rather than the things you hate. I know this world is hard and it’s always going to throw us curveballs, but I watched my passion and creativity die because of this. You don’t have to do that. You can surround yourself with people that encourage you and push you to be the better version of yourself. I may not be the wisest person, but that’s the best advice I can give to anyone. As someone with anxiety, going for the things I want hasn’t always been easy, but within the past year I decided to live life for myself and recognize I’d rather try and fail than never at all. I want every person I know to do that and I’m always here to encourage all of you. ❤️
