  •   zombiejo89 When I started working out I dived right into things that were too much for my knees they weren't used all my weight jumping on them and squatting.. After two months my knees stopped recovering ( constantly in pain) and I took a break to let them heal.. You look a lot lighter than me but maybe if you didn't exercise much before you started running.. Your knees just aren't ready yet? 41min

mrsbrou I don't know about you but with a visit home to MN and the holiday weekend, I have been a little off track (maybe that's an understatement) and it's time to hit the "REFRESH" button and get back on track!

mags.ace311 There are days when I don't feel like working out. I can come up with tons of excuses to not do it. 9 times out of 10, I end up doing it anyway. In the time it took me to convince myself to workout, I probably could have been done with my exercise had I started when I first thought about it. Haha most of the time it's not worth the fight but I do love that Beachbody has so many programs that are 30 minutes or less. It definitely helps my mental game to know I can get a full workout in a reasonable amount of time. 5h

Whaaaaaaa?
I'm entering a #giveaway so here's my story (from another one of my previously posted pictures) ...
My life hasn't been easy and I'm known to turn to food to make me feel better. In 2013 I lost the most influential man in my life. He was my foundation and in all ways but one, he was my father. When he passed I literally lived in bed and didn't move for weeks. I neglected my family, my home, my life, my body, my mind and my spirit. One day my son asked me, " Mommy, when are you going to get better?" That was it for me. I got up and put myself back together not only for myself but for my kids. I started getting out, gardening, dancing, taking my kids to the park anything to live to the fullest.
Recently I suffered from the traumatic birth of my third baby.
What was supposed to be a tranquil home birth ended up being a brutal emergency C-Section (he ended up being a big baby). I still struggle with feelings of failure and self doubt but with the help of my close friends and family I'm working toward finding peace in my life.
So here I am, working through it all. Trying to find the balance in the chaos. Living MY life because no one is going to live it for me.
I like to participate in IG challenges, torture myself with Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and jog. Jogging has by far been my favorite workout.
I started this journey weighing in at 148 after weighing 175 when I delivered my baby. I honestly have no idea how much I weigh now because I don't own a scale. I am curious though, after seeing this comparison... lol!!

I know some of you are gasping and/or cursing my very existence.
All things in moderation, my friends.
This is the closest thing I could get to a homemade cheesecake in this 100°+ weather. Soooooo... I'm enjoying myself and not freaking out because I've earned A slice of cheesecake.

r_araiza89 Isn't this the damn truth...?
My doc requested that I see someone for my PTSD from my son's birth at the end of April. I reluctantly agreed.
The trauma is still so incredibly fresh and quite frankly, horrifying to me. I won't go into details here because I'm not quite ready to share that part of my journey. But I will say birth trauma is very real. One day I'll be able to share my story with the world without crying or breaking out in cold sweats. One day I'll wake up from a peaceful sleep without nightmares. One day I'll be perfectly fine sitting alone in the silence without having flashbacks.
I guess I can say I've benefitted from this because it's a huge driving factor in this fitness journey because I can focus all my feelings into my exercises. I can use it to push myself farther.
So tomorrow is my appointment and I'm so anxious because I'll have to talk about everything. So I guess whether I'm ready or not, it's time to confront this demon and kick it's ass.
