this lunch was so good but the "side effects" after weren't as i always feel so bloated, crampy, uneasy and nauseous in my stomach after eating milk products, like whey protein and stuff worried that it could it be a lactose intolerance; aaack is anyone else lactose intolerant? if so, do my symptoms sound familiar? i know that everyone has a certain tolerance to it and not everyone handles it as well as others, but it's just so uncomfortable after i do consume milk; i know it's not an allergy or i'd be passed out or in hives or some shit lulz

marissasrecovery Tonight has been really special. My boyfriend came up to see me, as is what he does on Thursdays, and I'm not about the sappy posts, but as with my mom, this man has stood by my side through some of my darkest days. He held me as I spent entire nights sobbing. He constantly encouraged me to eat more, stayed up with me through entire nights as I threw horrific tantrums and continually told me that he wasn't going anywhere. He took the food away during my period of starvation induced binges and pleaded for me to eat anything that wasn't spinach and mushrooms. I have watched him cringe as he felt my disgustingly protuding bones, and I have seen him filled to the brim with anger, as he couldn't understand why I was killing myself. Nicholas, truly, made me realize that there is, in fact, a beautiful life outside of my eating disorder and I, honestly, would not be at the point that I am today without him. unrestrict.ed my original intentions for this post were to complain about how I feel uncomfortable with my body/ my diet the past few days,
I decided to first write about it in my food journal & contradict my negative ED thoughts with true, healthy statements.
I had some important realizations!!! I've trained myself mentally to automatically get upset if I notice more fat on my body, it's like a go-to reaction. it's essential that I (attempt to) alter this disordered perception & replace the negative (untrue) ideas about fat with healthy & true statements!!
I've just recently been showing signs of possibly getting my period back and I'd hate to jeopardize that by attempting to reduce my body fat. I'm going to stay strong & continue to take care of myself
