jmerritt83 My hubby and kids let me sleep in today 😴 they know I love my sleep! And I only slightly altered my clean eating to enjoy the weekend. I used a little unsweetened almond milk and some vanilla extract in my egg whites to dip my Ezekiel bread in and make French toast! Then added all the cinnamon and truvia I wanted to scramble the rest up. Just a "wittle" bit of honey (as my@2 y/o says) on top of the toast. It was so fun to promote them (only product I take)!! A little history on why:
In 2008 when I started working out on my own, I had zero confidence in myself & didn't even know what to do--I've written about this in other bios, so please excuse the repetition if you've already read. I went to the gym for the first time in 2006. I had NO idea what to do, so I didn't really do much. I stretched, walked on the treadmill, etc. Then I saw #AvaCohen in an ad and was like: DAMN that's real? So, I started looking into #fitness mags etc. I discovered #JamieEason and #JenniferNicoleLee and started doing their workouts that I found in magazines. By fall 2008 I wanted to be like one of them. I didn't know how to get there, I still don't haha! But, being at the #vitaminshoppe expo this week gave me a taste and now it's ON more than ever! #dreamsreallydocometrue So please please please #dontquityourdaydream & #donttellmeno :) #dreamforaliving #goals #plan Find what you love and go get it. kayfriddle Took all my personal training clients out to the park today for a group workout. One so everyone could meet each other in person, two because group workouts are a great way to push yourself that extra little bit, and three it was amazing weather! I also made my lovely ladies Jamie Eason's pumpkin bars and lemon bars! Thank you @jamieeasonmiddleton for all the wonderful recipes! jmerritt83 Bad planning after date night last night...so I am winging it today. Thankfully the hospital cafeteria has egg whites and whole wheat toast for my breakfast. But I had to run an errand at lunch and was trying to figure out what to eat. Jimmy Johns can make any sandwich an "un"wich exchanging lettuce for the bread. My meal plan calls for 6 oz of meat so I paid for triple turkey (after asking them to weigh the portions) and had them hold the mayo. Added any veggies I wanted and I'm still on track!     1kg turkey or chicken mince; 3 egg whites; 1 cup oats; 1/2 tsp ground cumin; 1/2 tsp dried thyme; 2tsp yellow mustard; 2 tsp black pepper; 1 tsp salt; 2 tsp garlic powder (1 clove minced); 1 small onion (finely chopped); 2 celery stalks (finely chopped) ️ Preheat oven to 190deg Celsius, spray muffin pan with olive oil, mix all ingredients together, roll mixture into balls and place in muffin pan, bake for 40 mins. Makes 12 muffins. 2d
