richardnohs Taken during my visit to Senso-ji Temple. It's the oldest temple in Tokyo. It also happens to be one of the busiest and jam packed tourist spots I have EVER ... seen! O_O 1mon

richardnohs By the time we made it to Mt. Fuji, the haze had set making it very difficult to get a decent capture. I managed to catch a few 'not so bad' shots while passing it by on the train. I will visit Japan again and I will get the pics I intended to get this last trip. Until then, here's one of my ride by shots of this wonder of the world! 1mon

richardnohs Speaking of wonders, I'd like to bring my IG back to this side of the water for a min. Here we have the 40 tons of bleached sugar sculpture called 'A Subtlety' by artist Kara Walker. It is 35.5 ft tall and 75.5 ft long. She built it to pay homage to the overworked yet underpaid and undervalued workers who's blood, backs and shoulders were used to build the sugar industry. This exhibit is open at the Domino Sugar factory in Williamsburg Brooklyn until July 6. Afterward, the factory will be demolished. It is definitely worth waiting in the line that wraps around the corner and down the street to see. 1mon

richardnohs This pic was my friend's idea. I was so tired the day we visited Mt. Fuji that he could've used my camera to take pics of caterpillars or gnats and I wouldn't have cared much. Now that I'm back and readjusting to NY time (again), I'm glad that he took this shot of me for me. It was so hazy this day that getting a decent pic of the volcano was really difficult but I like how this turned out. Good night, everyone!!! 1mon

richardnohs This was taken during my first visit to Grand Canyon in Arizona. I'm not certain just how this fire started but I do know it made for a great picture as the smoke ascended into such an incredible cloudscape. I posted this a while back but this one has some changes I recently made to it. I'm off to sleep now ... Have a wonderful whatever it is where ever you are!!! :-) 3mon
