  • jaydkim @chantal__ thanks a lot Chantal! I like it too. Love the little abstract bits within.   1w
  • jaydkim @foolgizaki thanks man! I don't always, but I really try to find out whenever possible. I spend time researching. For this one, I knew the site of it so I looked it up that way. I'll take a picture of the name or tags when they're there to research later but I can't always tell who it is. So it just takes time piecing it together. Over time I've got a few street artists that I can ask too if I'm not sure on who a piece belongs to which has been really helpful also.   1w
  • simplyayj Ooh me gusta mucho! So do u just happen upon street art or so you research first then hunt it down???   6d
  • jaydkim Thanks @simplyayj ! I do a lot of both. This is kind of my system that has worked for me, but I wil research ahead of time on that area's streetart. Especially for the bigger cities, that will tell me if there's any pieces or artists I HAVE to check out. I also look for certain areas that seem like they will have a lot of streetart. Sometimes if I know I'll have a lot of time to explore, I'll create a map on google so that I'm not just running in circles. I'll sometimes see something someone has posted here or online and think I really want to track that down, but my favorite finds are ones i come across myself. And even when I'm just exploring on my own wo advanced preparation, I can kind of just tell where there might be some finds.   6d
  • simplyayj Sweet. I figured that was the case. I did a bit of that when I was in NOLA. Awesome all the stuff u find!   6d
  • jaydkim @simplyayj there is outside chance I'll get to drive through Nola next month en route to Orlando. If so, I hope those banksys are still in ok condition. They definitely look like they've seen some better days.   5d
