dwmas_finest In sleep she sang to him, in dreams. . . Well more of nightmares, she showed herself in the distance. Her voice called to him, and chanted his name manically.
Stein tried to hide the snake woman's presence the best he could, though he couldn't help the paranoia that leaped onto his skin. Just the thought of that damn woman made the hairs on his neck stand on end.
Did Marie notice his edginess? Surly she did. She would glance at him more often, eyebrows furrows upward. She'd be asking if he were alright lately. Always- always he'd reply with 'yes, I'm just a little tired.' Or a nod in her direction.
She knew. Of course she did. Maybe Marie just didn't say anything to try to save his dignity- his self worth. Stein had been trying immensely on keeping the madness away. All the triggers were gone. He was doing so much better. But then. . . /She/ showed up.
The snake witch. She'd been watching him, following him everywhere he went. Every step Stein took, she was there, standing in his last footprint. No matter what direction he glanced, she was there. Grinning in the shadows like the Cheshire Cat.
And so he sat on the lavender, plush, cough. Fingers twiddling, knee jiggling, nervous glances all about. It was hard, so difficult to act calm. He was sweating through his skin, and Marie hadn't taken her eyes off of him in the last 10 minutes, that only seemed to make his paranoia worse. He desperately needed a smoke, though with his partner being pregnant. . . It wasn't allowed.

  •   dwmas_finest This was killing him, the few symptoms he had of withdraw were hell. Maybe. . .maybe this was just a symptom. "Stein?"
The mans eyes bolted up to the two women across from him, one sitting it the chair, Marie, and the other standing behind it- Medusa. Who said it? Which one. . . Which one spoke his name.
    Steins heart began palpitating faster.
"H-huh. . . Yes?" He swallowed. "Honestly, Stein, darling, I don't see what you're so worked up about." The woman behind the chair moved, slowly, slyly walking around it, standing inches away from him.
Steins hand nervously squeezed his knee. "What do you want?" He spat his words falling out hard, though his eyes avoided the witch. Bloodshot olive hues stared blankly against the, far grey, wall. "You're a silly, silly man. You know that Stein?" The woman licked her lips as she lowered herself onto his lap, her legs wrapping around his hips. "I want you to come with me. I want you to rethink your last response." "Medusa. . . That was long ago. I'm different from then, and plus. . ." He swallowed again. "Plus what? You're going to have a family?" She chuckled, "How foolish of you. There's no way a child could ever love you. And better yet, that whore over there doesn't love you either." Medusa's eyes slid over to the woman in the lavender chair. 13min
  •   dwmas_finest Stein had been wondering why Marie hadn't done anything. Even if she couldn't see Medusa, she would notice something was wrong. His eyes followed Medusa's gaze. Marie was asleep, her hand barley propping her head up. "Pregnancy does that to you." The witch hissed, "Marie was just using you because she's lonely. If Joe hadn't died then you wouldn't even be in her thoughts. She's a pathetic mutt who figured if you knocked her up then you'd be obliged to stay with her and raise a child." "That's not true, Mar-"
"Shush." The snake woman pressed her lengthy fingers to his lips. "And you know what, Frankie? That child's going to be just like you. . .despicable." Her smile curled. "That baby is going to do nothing but destroy." "No. . ." The mans eyes were wide. The baby couldn't be like him, that's exactly what he didn't want. Every night he'd beg the stars above that his child would be like its mother, and not even a trace of his insanity would lay within its soul. "What was that? Don't tell me, Frankie, no. You can't be forming a love for those two. . .tsk." Medusa shook her head, the small trace of a grin lingering on her features. "It seems you've forgotten what you told me. Remember? You said we were the same, Stein, we are just alike. We can't love. We're both incapable of it. Love doesn't exist in that shredded soul of yours." "Marie, she- she showed me-" 13min
  •   dwmas_finest "I never said you could talk, doctor." Her face was merely centimeters from his, " And Marie didn't show you anything. She tricked you. She made you think you could love. But you can't." The woman pressed her pelvis against his, putting pressure against him. "Think Stein. Think about that hatred you feel towards yourself." The mans eyes shifted, "Good. Now, think about all of those awful things you've done, huh? Think about that. Do you really want your child to do that?"
"N. .o.. No I don't." Stein's voice was hoarse, and dull. Cold almost.
"Now Steiny~ I have an idea that can make all of that doubt, about your baby being bad, disappear." Her lithe arms wrapped around his neck, her hips began to move in small circles. The pressure grew in his lap. Medusa leaned over and pressed her lips to the crook of his neck, kissing it seductively.
"Stop-" He squirmed, though it didn't stop her, "Tell me- tell me what I can do- p-please."
"Oh, Stein~" Her tongue traced itself up his neck, leaving a cold wet streak of saliva. "Why don't we have a little fun first. I know you're getting excited~." She hissed between the small, but effective, movements. "No- tell me now, Medusa." The woman huffed, leaning back to look at his stubbly face, "Fine, but after I tell you, I'll make you mine, professor."
He nodded with a trickle of a gin appeared across his mouth, he wanted to hear her idea. 12min
  •   dwmas_finest "Okay~" she grinned, "here's what I want you to do." Medusa'a lips gently brushed against the mans ear, her words whispering into it. They were soothing. . . And seemed right. Yes. . . Yes he would defiantly follow her directions.
The woman pulled away, "Now don't take too long, doctor, I want there to be time for us to have a little fun." She smiled that smile of hers as she stood, allowing the man underneath her to move freely.
Stein sneered, rising to his feet, his hands fondling the scalpel in his lab coat pocket as he looked at the sleeping mother of his child. Waves of adrenalin began pulsing though his veins. "Eheh. . . " The man grinned as he brushed golden lock of hair out of the face of the woman he supposedly loved. Was he really going to do this? Was he really going to cut apart Marie and destroy their unborn child? Who knows, if he does do this. . .deed, he may act on a whim and just end up destroying her as well. Doing this may be better then letting that monster inside her roam free. "Do it, doctor~" The snake witch behind him cooed, "I know you can, I believe in you, I believe in you and your crippling madness. You're not going to let that little corrupted soul hurt anyone, are you?" Her golden eyes shimmered at the doctor and his sleeping partner. 12min
  •   dwmas_finest He was going to do it. She saw it in his eyes. He was convinced, what a poor thing. Falling under her trickery so quickly, letting her pull him into the start of madness so easily. This was all it took, and after he followed her instructions, he'd go off the charts. "Ohhheh, Marie." He grinned, at her sleeping face, "I'm sorry to say this,"
He in took a deep breath, a sloppy simpler broadening, teeth showing, "But I'm doing to dissect you now." His hand grasp onto her shoulder, harshly pushing her over in the chair. The woman's eyes opened, confusion filling her features, her uncovered eye widened as Stein lifted up her shirt, showing his scalpel to her extended belly. He was ready to dissect, he was ready to end the life that he had created. "S-Stein!" Marie's hand plunged out, grabbing onto the madman's wrist. "Don't." She looked into his piercing eyes.
But all she got in return was a cackling laugh. 12min

dwmas_finest Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry
You don't know how lovely you are
I had to find you, tell you I need you
Tell you I'll set you apart
Tell me your secrets and ask me your questions
Oh let's go back to the start
Running in circles, coming in tails
Heads on a science apart
Nobody said it was easy
It's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard
Oh, take me back to the start.
I was just guessing at numbers and figures
Pulling your puzzles apart
Questions of science, science and progress
Do not speak as loud as my heart
Tell me you love me, come back and haunt me
Oh and I rush to the start
Running in circles, chasing our tails
Coming back as we are
Nobody said it was easy
Oh it's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be so hard
I'm going back to the start
