gymratdiaries As much as I wanted to have more ice cream and chocolate for breakfast I decided to make my own healthy (and just as delicious) treat instead! Yes I still eat healthy food sometimes lol So I whipped up a lil Cookies n Cream "froyo" and it was delish. How to:
Freeze a couple bananas (I used one and a half). Run them through a yonanas machine or a food processor till they are all blended and creamy. Add in one crumbled up cookies and cream @questnutrition bar. Top with chocolate sauce (@cellucor molten chocolate whey + cocoa powder + H2O) and sprinkles (not optional). I also added a bit of cereal to the bottom of the cup for some crunch.

nutritiouslynatasha By the end of the day my energy levels are too low to think about cooking. So I thought I might as well take the opportunity to make a decent lunch to enjoy in the sun! Quinoa risotto made with garlicky, onion-y mushrooms and thyme. Seasoned with pink Himalayan salt and white pepper. Only my second time trying mushrooms since the elimination. Fingers crossed for no anaphylaxis! 2h

fightforhappy To make up for the lack of proper picture of yesterday's lunch (or just bc I had half a can left of pumpkin purée, and this is fuckin tasty!), I made almost exactly the same thing today only difference is I had a crust this time , and I used honey instead of low cal sweetener I made this after going for a run, and my ribs didn't complain! Feeling good!
Now it's time to pick up my mom and sister from the airport, and then I've got no more plans this entire week

danneatscake So I read this article that suggested when you're living healthy you can reduce the stress of eating & meal prep by having 20 good foods that make up around 80% of your diet. Kinda saw their point, because it's less hassle, although I don't think it HAS to be that way... But hey. It got me thinking about what I eat most and I jotted down this list of what I think my top 20 foods are.

The 1st 10 (in coral on the left) came to mind easily- these are foods I eat every single day, or every other day at least. The ones in navy on the right I eat at least 4 or 5 times a week I'd say.
I reckon these 20 foods make up about 75-80% of my intake, no doubt. There were some close calls (broccoli, pistachios, sweet peppers, cucumber etc) too. But the rest changes regularly, maybe every few days or weekly, depending on what's in season, on offer, on my mind.

I was happy that when I thought about it, I found I eat whole foods as standard nowadays. I rarely eat processed foods (beside my protein powder), but my top processed foods are definitely crisps and popcorn, which I eat MAYBE once a week if we catch a movie.
