nathanwhiteimages So I was recently in the Barossa Valley for a work conference and I took my Olympus OM-D E-M1 as my primary camera with my new 45mm f/1.8 prime lens. So far I have been really happy with the image quality from this new lens but I was super stoked when I tested them out in a low light situation during one of the conference's social functions.

For a small sensor camera, I was really surprised at the quality and lack of noise in the images. Some of you may be saying 'Well Duh...!' but this is the first time I have used this camera in a low light situation without a tripod.

The band was also fantastic by the way. They are a local Barossa group called The Valley Cats. Check out their Facebook page here - https://www.facebook.com/Valleycatsbarossa
