Never have I posted two photos in such a short space of time, but these waves and this coastline were just exhilarating today. Also truly.....there were burgundy clouds behind me to the West !!
.
Be careful & stay safe with this swell people & for those big on detail, there's a surfer & a plane in there as well

loves_laughs My third beautiful dawn picture - With our winter weather about to a turn for the nasty - I am reminded of a beautiful, heart stopping peace. I get lost in photography, when I'm in that creative zone, I rather think time stands still, but in fact it is me standing still whilst the world races around me - does that resonate with you too?

Tomorrow is Friday and happily, I have the afternoon off... bring that shiz on!!!

annimayjensen Inside the Red Bridge Cafe and Providore. If you get a seat by the fire it is lovely and cosy. This building was constructed as a brewery in 1846 and was restored in 1980-1981. It has been home to a cannery, boxing club, military drill hall, Masonic hall, antique shop and in 2008 it became the Red Bridge Cafe and Providore. (: 7h

annimayjensen The Red Brick Bridge was built in 1838 and it crosses the Elizabeth River. There is a cafe and providore that is worthwhile stopping at on its southern side when traveling along the Midlands Hwy between Launceston and Hobart. (: 8h

annimayjensen The beautiful Ross Bridge on a clear sunny winters day. It was too picture perfect to not stop and take a shot. The bridge crosses the Macquarie River and was built in 1836. It is certainly worth taking a diversion off the Midland Hwy to visit the historic towns dotted along it. (: 8h

annimayjensen The Carrington Mill in all it's glory sporting it's new white cap. The mill was built in 1837 and has been restored in recent years. It is now in full working order and is the only operating mill of its type in the Southern Hemisphere. I buy the wholemeal spelt flour from this mill to bake my own delicious bread. (: 8h

hatu_t 1 .. 2 .. 3 .. It's amazing that when you see ducks, often you see 3 together.

annimayjensen No I am not in a foreign country or a fantasy land, I am right here in Tasmania. This is the old top of Carrington Mill sitting in parkland opposite Lake Dulverton. A stop in Oatlands is worthwhile and if you are camping you can camp for free for 3 nights on Lake Dulverton. (: 9h
