lilsipper Wine in the early morning?
Ehem....ok, well not exactly! This is actually just fresh juiced beets (a huge one to be exact). And the foam?Beets, when juiced, produce a foam that's just simply fun to eat! Have you tried fresh beet juice? ------------------------------------
FUN EXPERIMENT:
Drink fresh beet juice and it will tell you how long your body takes to go through a full digestion cycle. If you don't know what I mean then you will one you try it

  •   foreversarahlee The first time I ever had beet juice I actually forgot about the next day... Called my Dr. because I thought something was wrong (you know...). When he asked if I had recently changed my diet I remembered that juicing was new. "Ohhhhhh...... Never mind. I'm okay." LOL! 2h

olympia_consciousliving So dinner tonight was bangin'
And healthy
And nutritious

Potato-lentil-curry: 10 baby potatoes
3 large sweet potatoes
1/2 cup red split lentils 1 cup puy lentils 2 carrots
1 courgette/ zucchini
1 purple onion 1 white onion
1 large tomato
lots if garlic cloves
coconut oil, about 1 Tbsp
water/ almond milk/ coconut milk
Cumin, turmeric, cayenne, coriander, clove, ginger, cinnamon, sea salt, marjoram, nutmeg - 1 tsp of each - although I always put loads of cumin and turmeric

In a large saucepan, fry chopped all of the spices with the garlic and onion in coconut oil - add chopped tomato after a few mins

Once they begin to brown add chopped carrots and courgettes with some water/ chosen milk

Add chopped potatoes with more liquid after about 10-15 mins I don't measure the liquid - just tip in enough so that it covers half of everything in the pot - enough to cook but not too much so that it doesn't cook

Add more liquid and the lentils after another 15 mins

Leave to cook for 40-60 mins. Then leave to simmer for half an hour. Water cooks better for some reason but milk makes it creamier. And top with coriander. It's really nice.
Right hand picture: served with a 'cheese-cream' sauce: blend: 1/2 cup almond milk
1 tsp Dijon mustard
4-5 Tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
1 garlic clove 1/4 red onion 1 Tbsp turmeric
1 tsp pink Himalayan salt
1/2 tsp pepper + cinnamon

nadinentw Wie ihr bestimmt schon alle mitbekommen habt, lege ich großen Wert auf eine gesunde Ernährung! Als Pescetarier (Fisch ja, Fleisch nein) achte ich natürlich darauf, alle wichtigen Nährstoffe zu mir zu nehmen! Da ich mich aber größtenteils sogar vegan ernähre, ist es für mich zu einem 'Muss' geworden, einige Lebensmittel regelmäßig zu mir zu nehmen. Mit diesem leckeren grünen Smoothie, der mein absoluter Lieblings- Smoothie ist, habt ihr ein vollwertiges, gesundes Frühstück, und lange satt hält er auch! 1 big Portion:
- 2 handful frozen spinach
- 2 (very ripe!) bananas
- 2 dried dates
- 1 1/2 tbsp flax seeds
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp wheatgrass
- 1/2 tsp matcha
- 1 tsp cinnamon - 2 tsp (100%) almond butter - a bit ginger
- some juice from 1/2 lemon - cold water as much as you like to have your smoothie
(- coconut water will fit perfectly, too!) Enjoy
