brookiemw98 She makes me feel like it's raining outside
And when the storm's gone i'm all torn up inside
I'm always nervous on, days like this like the prom
I get too scared to move, cause i'm a fuckin' boy

Remember when I was in the grocery store, now's my time
Lost the words, lost the nerve, lost the girl, left the line
I would wish upon a star, but that star, it doesn't shine
So read my book with a boring ending
A short story of a lonely guy #lyricoftheday #blink182 #selfie #latestart #tomdelonge #markhoppus #travisbarker

  •   holy_grohly I was brought up in a relatively religious community, the holidays were never just free time without an explanation why we had them. But I agree, religion is really pretty dumb. In terms of believing in a god, I am unsure. I mean just because a lot of people believe that there is some form of god, doesn't mean to me it's necessarily right. I haven't found anything that makes me believe (yet), but I won't blame anybody that decides to do so themselves if they don't hurt anybody with it. 1h
  •   holy_grohly And sorry, but the idea of intelligent design is rather funny to me, no offense really. It's just that everything I learned about the theory of evolution I can observe in nature and/or makes perfect sense to me. If there is a god I think what they could have done was make it possible for our universe to form the way it did and make life possible. 1h
  •   _tomdel0nge The only thing about evolution you can observe in nature is genetic mutations, where an animal changes into the same type of animal, just with with genetic differences. Darwinian evolution, however, cannot be observed. As scientists have said, it would take millions of years for it to be visible, thus, no "evidence" we observe now is viable. Darwin (you know, the thing all evolutionists believe) is actually quite funny. His book makes very few references to a change in kinds, only to an adaptation of an animal (longer necks to reach food etc). There is absolutely no evidence proving a change in a kind of animal, a fish to a lizard or whatever example you want to use. If you find one, please, share it with me. Believe me, I'm not sharing this because I'm hyper religious, it's because I've spent ages researching. If you don't believe I.D, fair enough. It's an opinion. But I believe it because we are able to do so many things that this evolution idea does not prepare us for. ;) @holy_grohly 1h
  •   _tomdel0nge @holy_grohly I agree with you on religion being pretty dumb. Christianity is 99% pagan anyway. Christmas = pagan. Easter = pagan. It's all pagan. The idea is really absurd anyway, that you would follow teachings that you don't know 1) who created them 2) when they were created or 3) if they were true or have any evidence to prove so. 58min
  •   holy_grohly The theory of evolution isn't just Darwin anymore, it was further developed and it was found that Darwin was actually wrong about some things. These things have been altered and are now far more than what Darwin wrote in his "Origin of Species". You see mutation? Big evidence for evolution, as that is what is necessary to make long term changes in a population. Life was formed very simple in its beginning, and developed more and more until we are here today, having cultural life, exploring the universe and learning. 45min
  •   holy_grohly And yes, there is evidence for reptiles evolving from fish and so on, the species that were in between are simply extinct and only scarcely found as fossils, but they are found. 43min
  •   _tomdel0nge @holy_grohly But do we see these mutation changes changing a kind into another kind? No, we don't. We never have, and, probably never will. Again, there is no evidence to prove a change in kinds. This is why I see evolution as a faith. You are believing in something you think to be true and yet there is no observable evidence to prove so. 42min
  •   _tomdel0nge @holy_grohly Okay, I have not seen them but I'll have a look. Can you explain the other organisms changing into different ones, like an ape to a human for example? 26min
