gwissett Work in progress, but happy with the start on my drawers and false floor in the truck. After much cursing and refitting... #izuzu #doublecab 6h

  •   matthaag @tallanastytrucks, lol alright well the truck is my dd and I don't beat on it much, and if it does happen it's usually in deep af snow. But I had rubbing issues up front with my tires since they are bigger then factory and I didn't want to beat in the pinch welds in the wheel well so I stuck a leveling kit in it because a lift and extra travel isn't gunna do me any different because I don't go crawling through anything and already have good shocks front and rear and it stays on the road 98% of the time. But after I did that level, my ass end sat a few inches lower then the front which looked horrible so I added a couple leafs. Long story short, it's a cheap way of gaining ride height but for me it was only logical to do that way to get rid of the rub and not have problems up the ass with u joints and what not. 12h
  •   brandon_sarmiento No problem bro. Awesome truck, pretty much the exact same thing I had in mind for my truck, like seeing them like this, nice and still functional. Not lifted to the sky and a highway princess only lol @matthaag where'd you get those headlights btw? 12h
  •   brandon_sarmiento And the blinkers, never seen those done like that @matthaag 12h
  •   matthaag Yeah my main thing was to keep it functional and logical for normal driving and keep it reliable. The heads and fogs/blinkers all all retrofits I did, I don't believe you can buy anything similar without just doing the retro, and the blinkers all custom fiberglass housings to fit the rings in and clear lenses also. 11h
  •   brandon_sarmiento Yeah that's very important too, still reliable. Ok thanks bro and yeah I don't believe you can do it other than retro fit as well, was it difficult or pretty straight forward? @matthaag . sorry all the questions 10h
