yogitoes123 Almost done with pics from #bocaraton ️ day two of med school is done! I was asked how I balance school/exercise. So today I woke up at 6am and worked out for an hour, got ready in thirty mins (I put coffee grinds/water the night before, get my bag ready, and lunch packed), studied for ~3 hours while on all my breaks + active listening during classes, done at 345p with school, got home and relaxed/snack time for about 25 min, yoga for ~80min, study for another three hours. Now I'm on a break and will review all the material I did one more time before I go to sleep. Balance is YOUR choice. YOU choose to stay balanced and make time for what you want. I make time for my body because I know what it needs to function properly. As for studying, find what works for you. You will quickly find what does. I talk to myself and repeat things over and over and over, as well as write them down over and over and over. Repetition is the key to learning. || I'm totally loving med school by the way... I didn't think I would love it as much as I do, but this is going to be a terrific and exciting experience 3d

yogitoes123 I used to be afraid of strength training. I thought that if I got stronger, I would completely lose my flexibility. The opposite happened. I have found so much space in my practice. But more importantly, I have found stability. I've been able to pull this asana off for a while... But I used to fumble and usually fling out of it. Now I have waaaaayy more control. With control I have gained safety for my joints, tendons and ligaments. ️ my pants are by @sychofitapparel one of our generous sponsors for #happyhealthyyogis this month of July. 6d
