wowimcute Update: might have a minor glute strain. I guess I pulled "too fast" on my sumo deadlifts. So fuck my life this is gonna hurt my technical work for my pulls. At least its minor. I stopped myself before attempting any more leg movements, thank god. ugh im sad. 1w

wowimcute More snatches. They're getting way faster and my depth is getting better. It feels ATG but from the looks of it i guess it's not as deep as i could be. Then again, it's not heavy enough to force me down further. As of now I'm very confident in them but if i can master the receive and recover portion, I can get some good weight up. So much technical work with this movement has made it my favorite. 14 days til competition. 2w

wowimcute New front-rack boxsquat PR of 300 lbs! I roared my ass off but my form was clean and so was my speed. very happy, until I tried dropsetting 5 lbs and failed twice. :l oh well. Shall get more action shots soon. Maybe a camera and a stand so I don't bother people here. 8) No snatch/clean pulls today. Hopefully I wont regret it tomorrow. 2w

wowimcute Active rest run complete. As with training, my precision with the snatch is nearly perfect. I also didn't realize how much one day of being a little hung over can effect your whole week. I missed my sprints and my milage went down, but my speed went up. Oh well. 4 weeks away from my meet. 🌚 3w

wowimcute Deadlifts for speed! Did this after my clean and jerks. This was my 8th set of 3. Not too fond of that first rep, but I corrected it with the next two. This was my fastest set. Or, one of my faster ones. No pain too. Big numbers will be lifted again very soon.

wowimcute Today was a C&J day. Snatches wouldn't go. Burnt out on them this week. This was 185 lbs, but a big step up from my usual 135lbs. Im glad i took the technical route to brush up on speed and execution rather than weight. I dont usually split jerk but it feels better than my power jerk, so I guess this is what ill be doing on the 26th c:

Today was strength based. Triples on front squats followed by 6 singles, barbell glute bridges, this lunge + bodyweight squat superset and nice ol' prehab-y stuff.

wowimcute Endurance training! Still keeping at it. Today consisted of 40 uphill sprints with downhill recovery, 40 times with 30 second rests. Upped the volume, shall see how this effects my second week's run.

Also, please help me get on the cover of Men's Health for November. I love this magazine and am an avid reader and I'm truly enthusiastic about health/fitness. wowimcute Had an increase in milage during my run today with surprisingly no extra effort exerted.

This week I had lowered my endurance based volume, or so I thought. No circuits and an active rest run, but did clean and jerk/snatches until failure throughout the week with 135/95 lbs.
I had one sprint day of hills/downhill recovery for 30 sprints, resting 30 secs between each round, and only went maximal on box squats and snatches on separate days.

For not having to sneak circuits in every other dat, my strength, endurance and speed had grown! But I also almost doubled my carb intake in the sake of intensity.

Im gettin used to dis programming stuff.

Also, I'm gonna sign up for a weightlifting meet in april (if there is still room)! 8)

wowimcute Still working on speed under the bar. Trying to become comfortable with flying under the bar. Definitely getting faster. I had to wrap the spaces close to the bar with athletic tape just to get a grip though. Definitely shows how much I need an actual olympic bar. 2mon
