  •   raindropfarms Proud of you for braving the segway tour zone, I hear that can be intense ;) 14h

waywardspark Oh, hey! I'm at The Mill, one of the places I've seen a thousand Instagram photos of (mostly in @cucinanicolina 's feed), and I'm eating $4 toast (sesame bread, almond butter, peach jam, and sea salt), and it's delicious! 2d

waywardspark Great day at #RenegadeSF. In addition to selling a pile of boards, I talked to so many nice folks and got to marvel at the creativity that is SF fashion. (Apparently I need to get out of the boonies more often because a lot of it was baffling. I mean, mom jeans? Really?!) I even had the privilege of witnessing a guy combing his super long, gross mustache with some kind of special grooming device. This city is something else for sure, but I kind of love it. #RedOnionWoodworks 2d
  •   in_fusion Cracking up Camille 2d
  •   bakerhands These are all kinds of awesome!!! Also, whenever we go into "town" (Asheville) I loose my mind over people's fashion, it makes me feel like my life is a historical reenactment complete with dirt, braids and crapy aprons. 2d
  •   nataliecreates Yes mom jeans & cropped tops are so in right now. It's quite humorous! 2d
  •   waywardspark @bakerhands I honestly can't tell sometimes if people are dressed up in costumes or just "normal" outfits. 2d
  •   bridgetvizoso Normcore 2d
  •   antonmbuya 固定@ 2d
  •   coconutjordan I was at that booth earlier- those boards are even more drool worthy in person!! 2d

waywardspark I got up early and ran 11 miles. The 4:30 am wake up was worth it partly to beat the heat, but mostly so I wouldn't have to subject too many people to the sight of me dragging my ass through town. Around mile 7, I noticed my shadow had something hanging off it and realized I was wearing my shirt inside out (one of the hazards of dressing in the dark) and the tag was totally sticking out. Also running 11 miles today means I get to eat ALL the pastries/pizza/ice cream in San Francisco this weekend, right? 6d

waywardspark Hey, San Francisco! I'm headed your way this weekend for #RenegadeSF at Fort Mason. Come visit me and my piles of #RedOnionWoodworks cutting and serving boards on Saturday and Sunday. I've also got a little bit of unscheduled time here and there plus a whole day of eating and sightseeing on Monday. I definitely want to have at least one meal at Tartine Bakery, but where else should I eat? SF peeps, let's hang out! 6d
  •   skyflamigo Wonderful! 6d
  •   lbpodoll @mamaklevi wow! Love! 6d
  •   veronicayulka Get the best dumplings at Shanghai Dumpling King in the Outer Richmond! 6d
  •   waywardspark @shilosanford Sorry, but I'm not shipping internationally at this time. 6d
  •   kasiaseymore Wow 6d
  •   bay2 I'm thinking of an SF list for ya, @waywardspark and will send in a bit. 2d
  •   bay2 I have a laundry list of favorite spots in SF. You absolutely have to eat a ham and cheese croissant from Tartine. I encourage friends to stop here before heading out of town just to stock up on treats since everything is delicious and reasonably priced. Also in the Mission is a newer bakery, Crafstman and Wolves with a savory muffin with a soft boiled egg inside. Heaps of good coffee spots, including Four Barrel which you probably enjoyed at The Mill. A New Orleans iced coffee from Blue Bottle is another fave with chicory. They have a location in Hayes Valley that's around the corner from Juice Shop with cold pressed organic juice and elixirs. Smitten Ice cream is there too with ice cream made and frozen to order in front if you with their fancy freezing machines. 20th Century Cafe is a new gem over there too with a Russian honey cake and other savory dishes. If say you should make it to Flora Grubb out in the Bayview, it's a little oasis in the city with gorgeous vignettes of plants and handcrafted vessels and sculptures.... Mr. & Mrs. Miscellaneous is a favorite ice cream shop on the way with earl grey ice cream and house made maraschino cherries. Plow is a stellar breakfast/brunch spot not far from there in the Potrero Hill neighborhood. It may be worth stopping in at Gravel and Gold in the Mission since they may be keen on selling your boards, also the Parrish Trust on Divisadero and March on California St. The chicken at Zuni cafe is a classic and seafood at Hog Island at the Ferry Building or in the Mission at Locals Cornerare perfection. Tosca in North Beach is a great spot for drinks and food. @waywardspark 2d
  •   waywardspark @bay2 Thanks a bunch! 2d

waywardspark I'm grilling my friend Hank of Wild Garden Seed about the science and business of growing vegetable seed (specifically lettuce) while he winnows sorrel seed for next year.
