vulpuculan So a lot of guys feel I'm living a "married guy's dream" by becoming a born-again bachelor & I often get these nudge nudge wink wink treatment, but what happens when your wife IS your best friend & companion, a perfect partner who is THE yin to my yang, whose wavelength is so perfectly in sync with yours & at the same time adding that right amount of spice with completely contrasting temperament? well guys, ITs F@#king miserable!
The only thing which keeps me going is the warm proud feeling of what she is accomplishing out there. The true grit & determination with which she is going about her task of not only finish what she has started but to do it with absolute flourish!

vulpuculan A repost if a very old star trail pic. The constellation is Scorpio. The reddish star in the centre if the frame is called Antares Whois is also known as the ruby heart of Scorpio the scorpion. It is a super giant star which is some 428 light years away from earth. So the light from the star you see today actually started it's journey 428 years back! 2mon

vulpuculan It always amazes me when I look up to the night sky & I realize that I'm actually looking at history, in fact the light we see today of some of the stars, started it's journey much before even my grand parents were born. The light from the closest star Proxima Centauri takes 4.5 years to reach us! So the Sirius we see today is actually 4.5 years old! ...Food for thought ain't it? 3mon

The camera was RebelX, the film was kodak 1600 ASA, the camera was mounted piggy back on an 8" Celestron telescope with an open exposure of 3-4 min I think. The stars were tracked manually thru the telescope drive to get their sharpness & the fiber details of the sky. You can see a hint of the milky wAy in the frame 3mon
