  • tommyiscool123 before/after of the last one. I'm still trying to find a legit way to record my iPhone screen so I actually can make a video of the apps I use so if anyone knows of a way please let me know!
So this didn't actually take me long to do. Using Photoforge I turned down the highlights which brings out the details more without necessarily adding noise like sharpening often does. A lot of the fine tuning I do, I don't remember because its a very intuitive process for me which again is why I'd like to make a video.
The main things I did to this though:
To get the color I used some of the color balance in Photoforge then turned up the vibrance. The best way to get effective color changes especially with something like an eye would be the app Space Paint for me still. You can use these color circles and then completely customize the size and opacity/ intenseness. You can make the color spheres overpower and more replace the base color or you can just make it blend with the color.
I also used Space Paint to put the sparkly thing in the middle of the pupil .
Everything else though would be hard to put into steps. Apart from the black and white w/ only the Iris in color which I used the app Color Splash for.
I then do adjustments in Snapseed, but I literally just kind of think of the feel I want and change the appropriate things. When I want it to be more dramatic and kinda tone down the background significance, I've found if you turn down the ambiance it helps reduce the noise without making it all blurry like other de noising. I then in no specific order mess with contrast, structure, white balance, and then add a center focus filter
