  • thesundaydiaries @seedat590 yes, you soak the vests in water and then put it on your dog. the advanced ones out there consists of three layers which do very specific things like cools, ventilates, evaporates the water. They say that their dogs are able to stay active outside and their skin feels cool to the touch underneath the vest...   3w

No one knows Sunday more than you do so if you think Sunday's behavior doesn't match what the employee is telling you I would trust your motherly instinct. Worst case scenario you could take many photos and take them and Sunday to get a Vet's opinion bc no one messes with Sunday!   3w

  • thesundaydiaries Here's a serious question for you guys: I am starting to get very concerned that everytime she comes back from daycare, the top of her ears (and all around) are red and sometimes even bleeding. Does anyone know how this could happen to her? What could the people/other dogs be doing to her? This has never happened with other day cares. Her elbows come back red too... Any insight would be very helpful, especially if you have worked in a doggy daycare before. Thanks in advance, friends.   3w

They're total liars, it's pretty obvious Sunday's elbow was resting on a hard surface and she was confined small somewhere where her ears were rubbing raw the whole day. Maybe tied at the neck?? All they're telling me is that she played fine and she rested on futons indoors. BS!!! Sunday's not aggressive at all, she's timid so really shy and mellow when she's scared. Don't know why she would've been put in that kind of situation.   3w
  • crazydogpotato The people who board Delilah are honest with me, they will tell me they never eat well there, her elbows are expected to be a bit bald cause they can't keep changing the blanky she lies on, they will put a fresh one at night and take it away when it's soiled. When I asked if they played they go like, 'eeee uhh hurmmm, a bit,...'. Besides, anyone who has been following you would know that Sunday does Not play with other dogs. So they are obviously lying! If they just crate her the whole time she might be happier, and wouldn't come home with all those awful red marks!   3w
  • thesundaydiaries @crazydogpotato I wish they would be honest about these things. Even if she didn't get along with others there all owners know their dogs best and would understand if they weren't the happiest there. I took here there knowing she's not the most social and also let them know beforehand. If they're lying about this what else are they lying about, you know? I really value your input.
