  • thatbeerguy Now for something a bit different. Here is my ride... 2013 Boss 302 Laguna Seca. Thanks to Danny @rallyways for the amazing photo and @amazingcars247 for the reshare! Cheers guys!   10h
  • salvador82 @thatbeerguy ill tell you what, ill let you drive it to a brewery I drink you dont ;)   8h
  • mjollnir @thatbeerguy Beautiful ride Colby. As a past owner of a mildy modded '88 5.0 LX, I love the sound of a small block Ford. I can't believe the hp/speed increases they've made over the years. A stock late '80's 5.0 GT did the 1/4 mile in 15.3 seconds working with 225 hp. Mine was high 13'a @ around 290 hp est. Modern GT's are doing the 1/4 mile in 12.something seconds! The new v6 Stanford does a low 14   7h
  • mjollnir ...second 1/4 mile time! That's faster than the original 5.0 liter v8 fuel injection Mustangs of the early '90's and late '80's! That's advancement. Enjoy the ride   7h
  • mjollnir Oops, typo. Correction - v6 'Stang, not Stanford. I fat fingered it.   7h
  • dreaminhd247 @thatbeerguy Laguna Seca?! There's definitely some good beer here in Monterey!   6h
  • vernmeyer I'm not even a mustang type of guy, but that pretty.   4h
  • serhios3 As a mustang kind of guy I can just say-it's a dream car!   3h
  • thatbeerguy #fivepointoh   3h

  • thatbeerguy Gifts from Victoria, BC! Can't wait to try this one. @driftwoodbrewery "Old Barrel Dweller" Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine-Style Ale coming in at a heafty 11.8 ABV.   6d
  • tpear @thatbeerguy this beer is great. Cellar temperature is most ideal, maybe a quick chill if it's a hot day. I have 5 saved to enjoy for next couple years... or sooner :)   6d
  • hopzombi Have to say their 20 Pounder DIPA is very tasty!   5d
  • drpurpleshirt The Driftwood Singularity is amazing, and even stronger. Their Fat Tug is the IPA everyone wishes they made. Nice guys, too.   5d
  • damnhandsomegroomingco Wish we could get that in michigan!   3d
  • littlemissbliss @thatbeerguy Welcome to my beer world. I concur with what everyone else says, Driftwood Rocks! Curious to know how you got your beer mitts on the good Island stuff?   1d
  • thatbeerguy @littlemissbliss awesome! I got a few others from Victoria I will post up soon. Haven't tried any of them yet. Oh and a family member recently went there on business and brought these back for me! Super happy. :) what else would you recommended from up there?   1d
  • littlemissbliss @thatbeerguy See if they can get their beer mitts on some Powell Street Brewery. Their Old Jalopy Pale Ale just won beer of the year at the Canadian Brewing Awards. Anything from Phillips or Driftwood rocks. Salt Spring Island Ales has some amazing brews as well. From the city, Vancouver, Parallel 49 is two thumbs up. And one can not forget Howe Sound Brewing, their King Heffy took home a gold at the CBA. One of my favorite summer thrist quenchers. HSB is a pioneer/trail blazer in the BC Craft Beer Market. You might want to check out the Great Canadian Beer Festival happening in Victoria September 6 and 7. And Victoria is only a short ferry ride (The Clipper) from Seattle.   15h
  • littlemissbliss @thatbeerguy And you might want to check out Silk Road Tea and The Tea Farm. Island Fresh and Island Amazing!   15h

  • thatbeerguy Pilsners aren't my go to style, but when you add continual-hopping to an imperial pilsner, my worldview suddenly shifts. The Italian brewed collaboration, My Antonia, between @dogfishbeer and @birradelborgo. Gradations of spicy yeast meld together with granular grassy notes...sharp, but plush in its grapefuit citrus notes. Sugary malt with a definite hops finish, wherein I sense a slight phenolic quality that actually works within this brew in an almosy tannic manner. Awesome brew. I wish I had been able to taste it a bit more fresh.   1w
  • chucksucks711 I went to a beer dinner and tried this for the first time. Four glasses later I was on top of the world and half in the bag wrote course 1. It is a pilsner but brought hit me like a wonderful IPA. That stuff is GOLD   1w
  • chucksucks711 Before course 1   1w
  • caitlinlikes Well I've never had the beer but I love the novel. Haha.   1w
  • birrotes This is the only dogfish head we can drink in Europe regularly, so I tried it several times, and fresh, very good beer, refreshing and tasty   1w
  • forbrokenears Love that beer. Definitely takes what you expect from a pils, and throws it all out the window.   7d
  • maalivahti This is one of my favorite beers ever.   7d
  • michhern2010 @ron_burgundy_thiry_sometin Check out this guy-- lots of great beers..   7d

  • thatbeerguy Из России с любовью (from Russia with love). This is the Baltika #9 Pale Beer rated 97 PTS by Bevmo Beer Ambassadors. I gotta say, I didn't expect too much, but for something totally different (and only $2.99 btw) I was impressed with the richness of the malts and the raw dough breadiness that smoothly descended on my pallet. 8.0 ABV. Na zdoróvye!   1w
  • fortheloveofhops I love that beer!!   1w
  • thatsurfingirl Live this stuff! First tried it a few years ago at this awesome Mediterranean restaurant near my house. Have you tried any of the other numbers?   1w
  • thatsurfingirl *love   1w
  • travelermac @zictures   1w
  • c_item Love that beer!   6d
  • dcbogs @voskantidote that's the new problem in America with craft brew. All the good small breweries get pushed to the side by the giant brewers.   4d
  • unclekami ( ̄^ ̄)ゞ   2d
  • yawnnycash One of my faves!   7h

  • thatbeerguy Using my new growler from @hydroflask with a secret experimental brew from here in San Diego. More to come later on the brew. But this 64oz double wall vacuum insulated growler will keep your brews cold for up to 24 hours. I actually tested this out and it isn't hype! Also, this week (ACBW), @hydroflask is offering $5 bucks off your purchase is you use "CraftBeer13" at checkout! If you want the best growler out there, go check out www.hydroflask.com   1w
  • vicjohusmc86 I love that glass! I got mine ordered and on the way for the weekend, hopefully!   1w
  • growlersaver @thatbeerguy I contacted hydroflask about licensing them the GS patent, but they never got back to me. We will instead be selling the #growlersaver in this and other versions to fit the many different growler styles available.   1w
  • robertcolianni @abaer123 I'm not sure where you live, but in Philadelphia we have bars, restaurants, and beer shops that fill growlers. Most don't have any bias towards the name on your growler, but in some cases will offer discount or rewards if you have one with company logo. My work requires that growlers are 64oz., and have a standard opening. We ask that new customers purchase our reuseable cap, because our growlers are pressurized. @thatbeerguy Nope, talking about the one at my work ;) I fill a growler with an air tight hose system to 20PSI, purge, refill, plug into my draft line, pull the handle, purge slightly to allow flow, and once full, add our cap. The system adds CO2 to the vessel the same as a pressure line would add CO2 to a keg via the sanke during a tap.   1w
  • devonr22 That's art right there.   1w
  • beersex That's dope!!!   1w
  • jimi_gindrix Where can I get that glass from   6d
  • kevinkopf @jimi_gindrix - spieglieu, has the glasses or dogfish and Sierra for branded glasses.   6d
  • jimi_gindrix Thanks @kevinkopf   6d

  • thatbeerguy Every now and then I find something new at Costco. Price was good, figured I would give it a try. @eelriverbrewing makes Certified Organic brews such as this one. First sip hits woth heavy booze, then floral honey notes with bright orange/citrus that are quickly washed away by a hard hitting bitterness. All and all, a pretty typical DIPA except for the short lived honey notes, which I kept wishing there were more of.   2w
  • xxzemogxx How was the tast   2w
  • traviskrizay @thatbeerguy dogfish ipa glass?   2w
  • austin_wingfield Sierra Nevada Torpedo glass   2w
  • lindseymariekc @bonjoddy heard of this??   2w

  • lesheebot @thatbeerguy do you have a favorite white ipa?   3d
  • thatbeerguy @lesheebot why yes I do :-) check out Anchorage Brewing's "Galaxy White IPA". Definitely my favorite!   3d
  • lesheebot @thatbeerguy that was the first white ipa I've tried, and the first from that company too! I bought the last bottle at a local liquor store and I can't find it ANYWHERE now :[   3d

  • thatbeerguy Ever feel like you're actually traveling when you have a beer from another country? This one from Harviestoun Brewery brought me right back over to Scotland...with it's smoky peat and sweet malt finish that pulls together the notes from the 16 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Barrels. Ola Dubh Ale on Highland Park barrels. Where does your beer take you?   2w
  • lomills33 Almost bought that tonight! Went with some other staples instead.... Dragonsmilk and CEO stout for the win   2w
  • jhansson12 Rad find!   2w

  • thatbeerguy I don't know if I should drink this with breakfast or with dinner. ;) Great brew... Coffee comes through with incredible freshness! Perhaps a Latin American coffee as it compliments the floral and citrus notes of the good quite well.   3w
