tabithablue Natural swimmer! (Press play) 1d
  •   elleizahbeth Epic!!!!!! 1d
  •   afreespiritlife Any tips on getting babies started swimming like that?! 1d
  •   chinesebostoniann would he get choked by water? 1d
  •   tabithablue @afreespiritlife @chinesebostoniann Babies have a natural swim reflex and so if you start them young, it will stay with them. They can't swim alone of course! But hold their tummy in the water, and they will kick and paddle. Then when they're used to it, you can help them do a sort of dive motion under the water, and they automatically hold their breath underwater… they don't breathe in! Start a little quicker than you see here, more like a dip in and out of the water. (You can always blow in their face quick before going underwater at first to see them take a breath in and then hold it, but you shouldn't need to) They will most likely love it! 22h

tabithablue While taking Skylar underwater and filming parts of it, Brayden wanted his shot on the action with some special underwater swims with mama. Since I don't need to hold him anymore, we just played... One of the best times I've had in the pool in awhile. Thanks, Brayden, for your insistence on tandem swimming, and for making me play like a kid again. 1d

tabithablue The morning started out with a bit of rain, and though we almost threw in the towel on our plans, we decided to stick with it and make memories in the rain anyway. I'm so glad we did because the clouds passed and the day was gorgeous and filled with all the sweet things that make delicious memories. Just a reminder that sometimes we have to push through the storm a little, because there's so much good... So much beauty just on the other side. 1w
