suewaters @marshmallowden the air conditioning was nice but temperature yesterday wasn't too bad :) We're used to a lot hotter, and for much longer, in Western Australia. 6mon
marshmallowden Really? I live in Geelong and can say I remember plenty of complaints;) 5mon
suewaters @marshmallowden Definitely a Victorian would have found it hot. But when it is hot here we have weeks of high 30's and 40's so a day or two of high temperature isn't hard work. We only have air conditioning in one part of the house and it doesn't include my office where I work :) Whereas we don't get very cold winters so I find even slightly cold weather harder than heat. 5mon

suewaters @kleinerin @aniyaj thanks and glad you liked! They are considerably harder to photograph in the wild than at a zoo because they are more likely to be higher in the tree so it was very challenging to obtain a close up photo. 6mon
colwar But haven't they been making a mess of the trees! Not much feed left for them... 6mon
suewaters @colwar the trees are in a bad state and we've been wondering how this will affect the kolas and surrounding Forests. 6mon
colwar The koalas are getting stressed & dying. A hot potato for the Parks people. We've got some land down there & have been asking them for help, but no real interest. At least on French island they have a program of birth control. Looks like you've been having a wonderful trip. :-) 6mon
suewaters I'm imagining that it might be a complex problem but does need tackling. We've had an excellent trip. We've learnt a lot about the different areas as we traveled. 6mon
