  • sedonalace Tuesday's Tip: Removing Makeup
The skin around your eyes is very delicate- you want to be careful not to pull or tug nor use any harsh cleansers or makeup removers in the result of drying the skin out. Here are a couple tips we have pulled together to share with you.
    1. Baby Shampoo is a great way to remove that stubborn mascara that seems to be resistant. Using a cotton pad, drip some baby shampoo on the pad with a couple drops of water and gently start removing the eye makeup. If you have a cleanser you have been using that is mild and works for you, stick with it!
    2. Extra-Virgin Olive Oil is very gently and a great natural anti-oxidant that does not contain any harmful substances nor chemicals that can damage the delicate skin around your eyes. Apply a few drops of Olive oil on your cotton pad and gently massage your lashes (while your eye is closed) You can then use your daily cleanser to remove any left over oils. (This is my personal favorite method and I use it everyday)
3-Do not go to bed with your makeup on! By doing this you are contributing to the clogging of your pores which can lead to breakouts and other skin issues. Take the time at the end of the day to cleanse your face and let it breath while you sleep!
    If you have any tips you would like to add please share them! #makeup #removal #tuesday #tip #cosmetics #skincare #cotton #flawless #skin #sedonalace #mascara #gold #nails #beauty #beautiful #ig #igers #cleanser #oliveoil #eyes #lips #model @katrinalomidze

  • sedonalace *Today's Tip*
Cleaning your Sedona Lace Cosmetic Brushes -Deep clean your brushes every 2 weeks
-Use baby shampoo (detergents in hard soaps will strip your brushes) -Mix in a couple drops of olive oil with baby shampoo (this is a personal preference. It keeps your brushes extra soft if you choose to use it) -Use warm water to kill bacteria -Always keep bristles facing downward while washing to eliminate water getting into the ferrel and loosening the handle. -While drying place brushes on a towel/paper towels and let dry over night- some may take a little long due to how densely packed the bristles are. #makeup #brushes #cosmetics #sedonalace #clean #wash #midnightlace #company #water #tips #today #thoughts #feedback
