  • remz316 @lakwena @naturalchik true there are always two ways to see the same thing. You both make a great point. But on the other hand I think it's great to see how a good diet and exercise can make such a difference to how you age externally and inevitably internally. Taking care of ones temple now pays off later and it is motivating to see that. I saw this as celebrating the dividends of handwork no matter your age. No?   3w

  • gonzogyrl I know I must try myself, but I've only used water with my smoothies so far. How does almond milk/coconut milk change the flavor? Does it help mute some of the bitterness of the greens?   3w
  • remz316 @gonzogyrl I find the almond milk only helps slightly I find apple juice (with or without a little ginger or lime or mint) is hands down the best for taking the bitter edge off. Coconut milk light from the can really makes the smoothie velvety and gives a sweet undertone especially with the above fruit. It tastes incredible but that's only in my opinion. I literally could not sleep I was mumbling prayers for them everytime I thought of them tossing n turning all night.
