  • rejoicinginloveforever { Okay, so this is my last day here. The purpose of this account is to glorify Jesus, but I still find myself getting distracted by other things on here, and I don’t like spending so much time on my phone, which I realize happens a lot. Time is precious. I’d much rather spend time in the Word studying, spending time with Love Himself. I’ve been a Christian for three years now, and I went from being a “fake” Christian, (thinking I was all holy and whatnot, but still doing things I shouldn’t have been doing) then going back to the world, then slowly coming back by His grace. As a father has pity on his child, so the Lord had pity on me. When I had cried out to Him, He heard me and delivered me. I became a child. Sat at His feet and began to re-learn everything my polluted mind had been taught and exposed to. This is real. I am not the same person I was when I first started out. Jesus is absolutely, completely, and incredibly, precious to me. He loved me even when I was doing horrible things. No human being can understand to the depths, the heart of the Saviour. His love is just not like the love we have for others here. His love is infinite and unconditional. Absolute and perfect. Anyway, I’m straying here a bit. I'm really happy that my posts have encouraged others throughout this time though. Drop me an email or msg on Kik if you want to talk, but I will no longer be on here. (Yes, you may unfollow me!) Maybe this all sounds weird to you reading this but anyway, just wanted to let everyone know. Ps. I am glad you have the will power to pull away because i think it is very important if it takes over you....and it so easily can!! It goes up and down for me....and i feel the Lord call me back many times..... it's like IG can be a curse and a blessing and we need to find a balance like with everything. You've really thought about this :) Although a few things I'd add: (1) keep in mind that the manna and the water were also provided because of the Israelite's complaints. Quail came as a progression of more complaints. (2) God instituted many laws regarding food for Israel for the primary purpose of setting them apart to be a witness of God's holiness... Among these laws were regulations on how to prepare and eat meat. (3) the acts passage was not merely a vision, it was God speaking to him by means of a vision. God was denouncing all of the OT laws and commanding Peter to eat anything and everything so that he would be a more effective witness to the world. We know this is God because Peter acknowledges that in later verses.   4w

  • rejoicinginloveforever Hello Tyler! Sorry for this late reply once again! I don’t agree with something here though. The water and manna were provided because of their complaints? They travelled for a long time Tyler, the Lord knew they obvoously would need food and drink. Therefore the Lord provided them with water and “angel’s food”. (Psalm 78:24-25). This would be enough for them, but because they wanted the meat that they ate when they were slaves, God gave them what they wanted and many of them died as a consequence. For your second point, my answer is okay, that’s true. It’s spoken of in Leviticus. There are clean foods and unclean foods. Alright. For your third point, I cannot answer in one sitting. It goes very in depth and I would ask that you, Tyler, pray about it. I will tell you this though, the OT laws were not abolished.   3w

They did not reach God’s ideal of character or fulfill His purpose. That the Son of the Most High God, would willingly come to this dark world to take the punishment and death sentence that was rightfully ours? Not just for those living in that time, but for all men of all ages and all times. The blood of the spotless, sinless Lamb covers the wickedness and evil of all men. Yes, even now as it is 2013.
    Heavenly angels rejoiced in the plan of salvation for selfish sinful man but immediately were in shock when they heard what it involved for their God. They cry out to Him saying "No Lord, not you, let me go!" & with love the King declares, "Your blood cannot save them, only Mine can."

  • rejoicinginloveforever { maybe some of you have noticed, but i haven't been posting much at all lately. these past few, idk maybe 2 or 3 weeks, have been pretty interesting for me. my prayer has been that God will strengthen my faith, like i mean really strengthen it, and that His character may be seen through me to others. now i'm telling you, when you pray this with a sincere heart.. God get's straight to work. these past few weeks have been difficult but it's all apart of the "forgetting self, He>i" thing. again, it is not easy in any way whatsoever. i could tell you just what i went through, but i don't want to make God appear to be some kind of a tyrant to those who don't really understand Him already. no way. God within the fiery trials that He has sent my way to mold, shape and strengthen me, still provides the comfort. He still shows me His love and that He has a purpose for this. but i mean for real. it's amazing and it's difficult at the same time. the Word of the Lord says that God is a Father to us, and whom He loveth, He chasteneth. (hebrews 12:5-7). like as a father has pity on his children, so the Lord has pity on those that fear (love) Him. (psalms 103:13) i'm still going through what i'm going through, but i'm forever holding onto the precious hand of my Saviour.
