rainbowmiller We found ourselves a new park oh, and I was that crazy lady doing yoga and chatting with her baby while kynzie played 😛 4h
  •   amjovie Question.... Why are your park playgrounds not covered with trees? Doesn't the sun get hot on the kiddos? Our parks either have lots of trees everywhere or they have canopies built above the play area. 4h
  •   rainbowmiller @amjovie we have trees surrounding (I was under one) but we only have 3 months of warm/hot summer so it's not really necessary haha. During a hot spell we might hit 35 Celsius, but we typically stay around 23-28 Celsius. 3h
  •   delineatemyheart I couldn't imagine who would cover the liability of the large icicles and the snow build up that would happen here too. @rainbowmiller @amjovie Is that an issue where you are? 2h
  •   rainbowmiller @delineatemyheart that too!! She's in Cali 2h

  •   amjovie I love thunder! We hardly ever get here though. We will get excited over the tiniest fart of thunder haha! We need rain we have a huge drought right now :( 5d
  •   cherieii Thunderstorms are awesome!! You would love them here in Queensland! They're huge!! 5d
  •   thephillips5ive It was so bad here we lost power for hours :( but it was fun.. 5d
  •   rainbowmiller @amjovie I can see that from some of the Cali YouTubers! Hopefully rain comes your way 5d
  •   rainbowmiller @cherieii ooo I bet!! 5d
  •   rainbowmiller @thephillips5ive oh really? It was intense but really fast here. Got some crazy wind, marble hail, and a big downpour but came and went in probably 20 minutes! 5d
  •   thephillips5ive Sometimes were that lucky.. Usually passes by our property.. But yesterday was pretty bad.. The big strike that took the power out was so loud it gave me an adrenaline rush for a while hahaha.. I was terrified it was going to get us haha I love the storms but sometimes even I get scared and have to pretend very thing is OK for the littles.. 5d
  •   rainbowmiller @thephillips5ive haha I can totally relate to that 4d

rainbowmiller I've begun practicing asana daily again. It's how we start our mornings now. Wake up, snack for M and tea for me and we all head out to the deck. In the next week my goal is to be practicing as the sun is rising around 6. I've got a long ways to go. But it feels so, so good! I'm glad I let body and mind take time to heal and develop a good routine as a new mom of two. Starting and endif my day like this does wonders ️ happy hump day, friends! {thanks to my little photographer. Always finds that camera haha} 6d

rainbowmiller Morning yoga is my favorite the kids lay on the deck and play, the sun rises. Warm breezes. Birds chirping. The best way to start the day ️(she's wearing clothes.... For anyone wanting to be a butt head) 1w
  •   katieilene Man, my kid would not be comfortable without a shirt on outside... He can barely handle it inside. Anytime we wake up and daddy doesn't sleep with a shirt on... He will be like "daddy... You don't have a shirt on! No no, I'll get you one." 1w
  •   amjovie Beautiful picture 1w
  •   rainbowmiller @katieilene haha so funny! 1w
  •   rainbowmiller @amjovie thanks mama. 1w

rainbowmiller I don't have enough words to describe or express my gratitude for my children. For the life I live. My life is blessed. Rich. And so, so full of immeasurable love.
Today we spent the day on a fun adventure. And as we were on the long drive home, I opened my feed since I had a quiet moment. I saw a post that held my heart tight. The tears started flowing. Such sad, bittersweet tears. I've only followed @ameliakyoga 's journey for a short time, but right now I wish I could be right beside her. She went into labor (problem free) and was doing beautifully. Then suddenly, her healthy baby's heart just stopped. No one knows why. It was deemed a "freak accident". They got to spend a whole day and night saying goodbye to him after they took him off life support. Their sweet hearts. She has handled such a tragedy with such an incredible perspective. Full of beauty and love and life. That little boy was so beautifully loved. My heart is with your family. This is such a beautiful life. With so many lessons and journeys. May we all feel the love and see the beauty it carries. //

  •   rainbowmiller @theindiehomestead so inspiring. 1w
  •   rainbowmiller @cherieii I think by her sharing, she has put many things into perspective for hundreds of mothers. A beautiful gift in such a heart wrenching time. 1w
  •   sarahlemay I just have birth to my second baby girl two days ago and I cant imagine the pain this poor mothers heart is feeling :( thanks for sharing her story 1w
  •   rainbowmiller @sarahlemay congratulations on your second beautiful blessing, Sarah 1w
  •   aimeeloohoo OMG, I just read her captions and bawled so hard. 1w
  •   rainbowmiller @aimeeloohoo I've been crying randomly for the last few days. Yet at the same time it's opened me up to some great growths and gratitude. 1w
  •   practisewellness Oh I just can't imagine... 7d
  •   thephillips5ive Gaahpart of me wishes I never read this.. My heart feels so heavy going over all her posts. I've been crying for an hour.. But I am so so very grateful for my healthy babies. :( 5d

rainbowmiller Fun fact: leg hair seems to grow much faster when you're a mom. //oncoming rant warning: On a random note (because that wasn't) on the outside looking in, I'm a bit of a loner . I have a small handful of close friends, but I have a hard time making friends (ack it's like dating!). A big part of the reason (through my experience) is people are okay being acquaintances and calling it friendship, and I'm...not. I want to make genuine, deep, real friends. That grow to be sisters. Women I can be my whole self around and not feel judged or have to bite my tongue. It seems their is so much drama among women these days. A lot of shiny outsides and not enough raw insides. It baffles me. I'm a really honest person. Not mean, but I say how I feel. And I like to discuss thoughts and feelings, I've learned the hard way that people can get really knotted up over honest open discussions. For example, if our kids are playing, and there is an issue (like a friends kid hit mine.) I will say after talking with mine "hey, M says your little billy hits and that hurts her feelings" lets chat and come up with a solution. I have in the past gotten responses of parents hurt feelings because I said something. Or thoughts that I was being unkind etc. I guess I just want to know when we got so lost with each other. When did honesty trigger such personal hurt feelings inside of us, pushing people away from each other? What happened to talking through things, or being comfortable enough to share what's been troubling your mind? Why can't we discuss a taboo without sending someone running? Or is it just the fact that people don't want much more than casual friendships? Sorry that was so long winded haha. I refuse to give up though! I am confident I can find future sisters 👭 2w
  •   rainbowmiller @kpycko I hope so much you find women near you who you connect with. They are there(and here), I'm sure of it! 2w
  •   rainbowmiller @shelleykphoto such a blessing!! I wish I knew a sister relationship. (I do have one, but that's a story haha) 2w
  •   tenellchamp Best rant ever! 1w
  •   rainbowmiller I think I saw you at the water park the other weekend @tenellchamp are you still in s'more? If so we should get together maybe. :) 1w
  •   aimeeloohoo I think lots of moms (and people in general) are insecure. So it's hard to get past their insecurities. I've run into this a lot too. I always try to let people know right off the bat that I am not perfect, nor do my children behave perfectly all the time. That seems to show that I am not being judgmental towards them or their kids. It seems to make people a bit more comfortable sharing their flaws with me as well. 1w
  •   z.gen Try being a teenager. Drama drives me crazyyyy 4d
  •   rainbowmiller @z.gen I hear that!(wasn't very long ago for me haha) Unfortunately it's not much different then high school most times :/. That was probably my biggest shock. But then there are some really really awesome people that make it worth the wait 4d

  •   elisenicole_art Same with my little guy! 2w
  •   lilvandy This is random but I remember you saying you use reusable breast pads. Do you have any recommendations on where to buy? I want to start using reusables. Thank you 2w
  •   rainbowmiller Oo they are everywhere online! I bought mine from an American online shop... Rockabye baby?? Hmm I'll see of I can find it. They all work well IMO. Just google cloth breast pads and tons will pop up. Lots of people like Bamboobies I think it's called. @lilvandy 2w
  •   rainbowmiller Rock easy diaper company is where mine are from (the stay dry 3 pack ones.) though I'd go for the pointy topped ones because they look more boob-forming ha @lilvandy 2w
  •   rainbowmiller @elisenicole_art oh hello to you mama! Your family is beautiful. Looks like you had a wonderful birthing. Congratulations on your sweet son 2w
  •   lilvandy @rainbowmiller okay thank you! I wasn't sure if some were better than others. I'll look into those 2w

rainbowmiller Lots of cuddles. She was determined to see the fireworks up close this year, so after going to bed at 7 and waking at 10, she was a bit sleepy️. Grayson slept through a diaper change, putting on Jammie's, and getting into the car seat haha. Boy does not stray from his routine. 3w
  •   amjovie Lovely picture! 3w
  •   delineatemyheart Bennett sleep through them too....but Abbs and Lachlan both loved them. I anticipated crying from the baby from being so close, surprisingly not a tear. Some peoples dogs were looosing it though. 3w

  •   delineatemyheart We were just across the street from the ball diamond alon the school grass we parked there and wanted a quick get a way without having to cross the street. Well.....I did. Ty didn't care where we sat. 3w

rainbowmiller Does anyone else get this dumb little baby dread at the nape of their neck?!? My hair has been driving me bananas. rainbowmiller Seriously a beautiful night (great light! Not any filters or editing needed!) I love him so much. Tonight we talked deep stuff, we laughed, we chattered about things we love and want to do, we slow danced as the sun set, cuddled as the fire burned down, and just cherished each other in the moment. I can tell him anything in the entire world, and he still looks at me with adoring eyes. I see part of my soul in those blues of his. Whenever I catch his glance, I experience this moment. Something deep within me locks into him for and the world melts away. It's in those moments I know that everything will always be just fine. He will always love me. I'm so thankful for those connections every day with him. It's all I can do to try to be the best possible me, and continue to try my best to open my heart and surround him in love each and every day. I will never be able to thank him enough. To return the irreplaceable life gifts he has given me. But damn, I'm gonna try my hardest to make him feel this love. 4w
