patchworkqueen This is as far as I got before it was time to clear away to watch Jamaica Inn..... Using some of my treasured fabric scraps here.... Gotta keep on using them in projects instead of stashing them in a cupboard #annamariahorner 2d

patchworkqueen I've been busy finishing off some wip's today. Needed to restock my bag box so that I have some loveliness for gift giving although I'll find it hard to part with these as I've used so many of my favourite fabrics. 2w

patchworkqueen Ok joining in the fun..... 1. Count of Monte Cristo - Alexandre Dumas, 2. Perfume - Patrick Suskind, 3. The Handmaids Tale - Margaret Attwood 4. Anna Karenina - Leo Tolstoy and 5. Shadows in the Wind - Carlos Zafon. I found this virtually impossible as I have so many books I love so I excluded children's book (Magic Faraway Tree and Secret Garden are my all time faves) and tried to choose books that weren't too similar .... Those that just missed the cull Thd Other Boleyn Girl, A Suitable Boy, A Discovery of Witches, Rebecca ..... So hard.... Tagging some others to share @blossomquilts @citystitches @petitselefants @lorena_in_syd @happysewlucky 3w
  •   happysewlucky Here's where I fess up to having to resign from bookclub for seldom finishing the books. It's ok, making handmade "guilt gifts" was killing he anyway. But I'm def not a candidate for book reco's. Pathetic really. :-) 3w

X-Pro II patchworkqueen
patchworkqueen Made salted banoffie pie today from last months @jamieoliver magazine. Tasty but extremely sweet.... Not sure I made the toffee quite right. My teenage son are two slices and then suggested he might have triggered some version of diabetes due to the extreme sugar consumption. He he.... #bannoffiepie 1mon
