  • pacificyo they tell me developing color film is harder than b&w film. it's really not that bad, and definitely doable. you feel a sense of self-satisfaction when the positives[i develop slide film] come out clearly. i have 2 rolls from this weekend in norcal that I'm gonna develop this week. I'm exited for the results. #beliveinfilm #filmisnotdead #filmphotography #35mm   3w
  • roseyrenee Ah so cool!   3w
  • richardticehurst Good work! @pacificyo   3w
  • lynch455 Link me to your process!   3w
  • pacificyo @lynch455 I use the arista e-6 kit and follow the instructions that comes with the chemicals. the trickiest part for me is maintaining temperatures...but every YouTube video I've seen on the process says temperature is really only important with the first developer.   3w
  • mcpanders Love this   3w
  • frptlady Very kool   3w
  • mackelleen Some smaller medical offices still develop x-ray film, with an automatic processor; hand tanking is nearly extinct. Back in the day, I had friends run their photo film through the X-ray processor. Just a thought, if you're feeling adventurous and have a resource!   4d
  • mackelleen BnW, obviously!   4d

  • pacificyo out and about "testing" my film holder! I'll be setting up a kickstarter for this at the end of the month. I noticed nobody made anything like this, so I went ahead and made one for my fellow film photographers to use. be on the lookout! #believeinfilm #HiMaticAf2 #sandiego #igerssandiego #instasder #filmfeed #filmisnotdead #filmphotography   3mon
  • lucid_visionary Actually lomography made a bag with film holders, small bag able to fit one fixed lens camera and three film holders. It was a good bag and all but after a while the elastic just became loose and it was pretty much useless as I bought it for that reason.   3mon
  • pacificyo whhhhhat? damn, well thanks for letting me know about that haha.   3mon
  • meddlesomefilms I like it! I've used some older military surplus bags that have similar elastic holders. I like to imagine they once held grenades. I think they just held candy bars though.   3mon
  • pacificyo @meddlesomefilms maybe it was for shotgun shells haha   3mon
  • barce Great idea! Will it work with a C Loop or other different kinds of straps?   3mon
  • pacificyo @barce yep! it should work with anything it can be clipped onto. i've put it on multiple straps, camera bags, luggage, etc.   2mon
  • erniesbudolab There was a product on the market in the early 1980's that did exactly this. I used to see sport photographers wear them like bandoliers.   1mon
  • sillyhumantricks Awesome product!   2d
