  •   onebitemore @jessjoseph I boiled 300g pork bones in a pot of water for a couple of hours until it was milky and reduced into a stock. Meanwhile, cut half a Japanese pumpkin into chunks & roasted in a 180C oven until tender. Peel skin from pumpkin & blend flesh with stock & a tablespoon of miso paste until smooth. Sautee kale on a pan with olive oil until crispy then repeat with enoki mushrooms and a bit of soy and olive oil. Chop almonds up. Mix the toppings together and pop on top of hot soup 1w

onebitemore {Day 42} Three bunches of kale for $5 at my local green grocer. We stripped the stems, washed and chopped the leaves then packed them into zip lock bags for the freezer. Much as I love eating kale, I'm always put off by the amount of space it takes up in the fridge and the prep work required before eating it. This way I've got ready to cook kale on hand all the time! onebitemore {Day 41} Tonight I ate a mandarin after a lackluster Chinatown dinner (perhaps the chef quit?) and it made me unreasonably happy. I guess I was reminded of how blessed we are in Australia to have access to such amazing produce grown and created by amazing people. (I had just two items off this plate of petit four from Aria whilst celebrating the lead up to the #produceawards held by @deliciousmagazine because I am full of restraint.
