  • nickspud Alec is a few months away from embarking on a 2 year service mission for the LDS church. He'll go door to door teaching people in Ohio about Jesus Christ. I'm so thrilled for this guy. He's also a super talented guitarist and I had a blast talking to him about alternative Hip-Hop.   • jessicadawn89 If you like deserts and cactus you have to see the joshua trees in antelope valley! It's the only place they exist and they're like the slowest growing tree ever. Which means they are very very old.   2w

  • nickspud Rachel is always smiling (except when she is pulling off a tough vball shot like she is here) Constantly laughing. A never ending happy high. I've been lucky enough to shoot her teams vball pictures for the past few years and even luckier when she chose me to snap her senior pics. She is quite the machine on the vball court, as her teams talented setter. Random fact about her: she survived a rattlesnake bite when she was 8! This girl is tougher than nails.   • nickspud I discovered Sigur Rós back in 2006 when I heard their song "Hoppípolla" in the movie trailer for Children Of Men. It moved my being. Goosebumps took on a new meaning. I felt I had stumbled on a discography created by angels. I've spent countless editing sessions being uplifted by their music. Their music produces ideas in my head like no other music can. I finally saw them live this weekend with @claire_ification. It was an emotive experience. One I'll never lose from my memory. One moment Jónsi held a note for about 60 seconds. I had to pick up my jaw off the floor. After the concert I told my wife, "nobody will ever say this about any band: they sound like Sigur Rós" Tomorrow we will see The XX. Crossing another one off the concert bucket list!   1mon
