  • musiccityace So frustrated. I'm having seller's remorse. I recently upgraded to an iPhone 5 and sold my 4s on eBay. The buyer (a full week after receiving it) is now complaining it has all kinds of issues and want to return it. My face is red hot after a phone call with ebay and hopefully I'm protected since it seems I'm dealing with a scam artist who wants both the phone and their money back.   • mokiandme @musiccityace we need an island where we can send all these ppl that they can't come back from. Then they can inflict their 'special brand of love' on one another and leave the rest of us to happily get on with life. As for candles - if you got a lilac candle, I gotta get me one! :-D I got a woodwick one, but it's in a draw, pretty-stinking my dresses ;-) I need one I can burn to stink-pretty my apartment!   2h

  • musiccityace Mobile photography is taking the world by storm. The beauty of mobile photography is not just in the ability to take an image and post-process. It's also about sharing and building community.

    We Are Juxt is proud to officially announce our participation in the Windows Phone Challenge, using Microsoft's flagship Nokia Lumia series (920) - voted Smartphone of the Year in 2012 by Engadget Readers.

    Through this program, a handful of Juxt(er)s (for now) will be putting their iPhones down for 8 days and shooting exclusively with the 920 and providing tips and techniques for Windows Phone users to achieve added value in the photographs they take. Juxt(er)s will also be playing around with the apps available in the Windows Phone Store and sharing their thoughts with the community. It's a great challenge and we look forward to sharing our results with you.

    As of now, Instagram has not supported the Windows Phone artists on their platform. A 3rd party app called Itsdagram has enabled WP artists to join the community. We Are Juxt welcomes them as we did with Droid users to the community.

    Be on the lookout for your chance to participate in this challenge. Microsoft and We Are Juxt will be holding a contest for a chance to win their flagship phone.

    Our photos will be tagged #wearejuxt #wpphoto on Twitter, Flickr, Facebook, and other social networks.

    As always we thank you all for the support, participation, and community! We want to include all photographers and artists regardless of their device. This is part of this initiative.

  • mokiandme @musiccityace eaves-dropping on ur droid convo above ;-) I've left my 3GS being and have a galaxy 3 & I cry for missing hipstamatic, photofx, filter storm, carbon, iris, fotoforge, etc. I feel hamstring and limited. I swear my 3GS took better photos than my mega mega pixel camera in this Samsung :-(   13h

  • musiccityace @mokiandme yeah, other platforms really lack the app ability compared to iPhone. Hubs did test out a galaxy for a while and minus the app issue he really loved it. And I was jealous of his macros that the phone took without the need for extra lenses. Then he went on a business trip and lost that phone. He was so upset. I have an iPhone 5 now and I'm amazed at how bad my pics from my 3GS actually looked. This windows phone takes really good pics too, but using it it rather interesting   13h
  • mokiandme @musiccityace interesting! Actually coming back to IG and I'm staring to think for the first time in 12mths that I want to go back to an iPhone :-P ... just for the photo editing!! What does that say about smartphones ... our actually, what does that say about me :-\ & yeah. The macros it takes are amazing for a phone. Also, I used it to take a lot of portraits at Christmas, and it really takes clear and impressive ppl shots. I put my dslr away, and just took all my shots with the phone :-)   13h
