mssherryblossom SHERRY BLOSSOM SWEET & SPICY SAUCE!!!! This tastes so bomb y'all! Clean ingredients too! Feel free to substitute as follows: Replace coconut oil with grapeseed, almond or peanut oil. Replace agave with 3 tsp of Brown Sugar. Replace Cayenne powder with BBQ, Chili or Chipotle seasoning....When you mix all the ingredients together this turns into a brown sauce. Spread it as generously as you like. Super low sugar and sodium index! This recipe was enough to coat the tops of 4 large chicken cutlets and coat (entirely) 1 medium sweet potato cut into "fries". You can store this sauce in the fridge if you don't use it all. It will harden and turn white (b/c of coconut oil) just make sure you make it in a microwavable/pyrex dish and reheat for a minute or 2. THANK ME LATER! Some people don't consider "cheese" to be clean per se but if you're going to eat it try to get it as fresh as possible, full fat (not low fat) and the least processed. I love cheese. mssherryblossom If I were asked this 7 weeks ago my honest response would have been: "I have watched people do exactly what I have wanted to do since August 1, 2013 (when I first began falling off from my #fitwithsherry journey) and I've become exceptionally negligent of my fitness and diet, since Jan 2014, during that time, my interest in the #eatcleantraindirty lifestyle remained just an interest b/c my willpower wasn't strong enough to take the first step. I loved Subway fast food, bread, dressings & sauces, chocolate chip cookies, pop tarts, no fruits at all, broccoli occasionally and open bars/unlimited mimosas/happy hours with moderate exercise. I decided to stop watching other's journeys and begin my own on June 3 2014.It was a slow start. Took a ton of effort and self control. I'm far from perfect at it but I'm consistent and I will get better, stronger and healthier every day. My Eating clean commitment matching my train dirty commitment. mssherryblossom I do NOT deprive myself. I have a deeper understanding of the power in food that I never paid attention to before. I didn't want to pay attention. It seemed too vast. I'd whine that I'm not a food expert, nutritionist or even general health doctor and wasnt "suppose" to know "all of that, anyway". But I was curious, sick of lacking knowledge about what I was eating and why (most of our eating is based off scientifically gathered info of our habits and how conglomerate food manufacturers can make bigger profits. Nothing to do with actually nourishing our bodies. It's so insane!). I was tired of being tired and desiring better. I wasn't going to awake in the state of maximum health and mindfulness, I began to crave more and more. All it takes is a desire to KNOW...a desire to truly EAT WELL and not feel exposed when you're asked about what you eat and you timidly say "Oh, I have such a poor diet." Or "I just eat what I like"...How can I be clueless about the body I will inhabit for the rest of my life. I have a long way to go but I'm much more confident in my future. Predisposed to heart disease, stroke, obesity, cancer and so much more. My grandmother had health issues all my life. My mother passed away at 50 years old. I am 27 years old. mssherryblossom And this #eatcleantraindirtywithsherry journey just keeps getting better and better! On the RIGHT I weighed in around 167lbs...Summer of 2013. School was nearing the end and I wasn't as diligent with my #fitwithsherry journey. On the LEFT, 2 days ago weighing in at 155.5 lbs...6 weeks into my #eatcleantraindirty journey. The past few days I heard more than a few times that my "face looked slimmer". I've never given that much thought so I combed through photos and WOW they're right. Crazy because on the RIGHT I have a face full of makeup. On the LEFT, I have 4 dabs of concealer over tiny discolorations the size of a freckle, mascara and my brows filled in! This journey is real y'all! #eatcleantraindirty believer!!! Let's get it! 1d

  •   mssherryblossom Drinking 2L-1 gallon of water a day. Vitamin E cream and sunscreen daily has definitely done most of the work. Eating clean has nearly eradicated the occasional acne breakout and my skin feels more supple! Not as dry in certain areas. @angierafaela 1d

mssherryblossom Breakfast for a Champion: AVOCADO & EGG WHITE "PIZZA"... Sherry Blossom Recipe (inspired by PopSugarFitness)...STEP 1: 1/2 Avocado seasoned with 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 pinch of sea salt, 1 pinch of pepper. STEP 2: Warm (or lightly toast if you want a "crunchy crust") sprouted grain tortilla or any other flat "bread". STEP 3: Spread avocado over tortilla and place in over for a few minutes until warm/toasted. STEP 4: Cook 3 egg whites or cook eggs however you like. STEP 5: Place egg on tortilla and sprinkle with dill seasoning & chives (or add cilantro, spinach, kale, feta cheese, bleu cheese, parmesean cheese, and more to turn this into an even heartier breakfast or even a quick lunch! STEP 6: ENJOY! <--- Super healthy and clean breakfast! Simple to make! Keeping clean and whole foods in your home (fridge, cabinets and freezer) is the FIRST STEP in staying consistent on this journey. My kitchen is 98% clean. Today I am removing the last bits of processed foods: white sugar, cream cheese, mayo, dressings, pasta sauce and other sauces (clearly sauces have me by the handle LOL!)... If I have used these items in the past 6 weeks...I've always measured 1-2 tsp.... I have replaced white sugar with organic agave nectar. I'm replacing dressings & sauces with vinegar/salt/pepper and/or home made spiced avocado & veggies spread (sauce). I just needed to find replacements.
