mrhartcameron Throwback to last year. Hardly had any size there, but I'm feel I've progressed since then. Too often guys use steroids to get them to their goals quicker. In fact they're just trying to substitute or override a poor diet. Fill in the missing gaps and you won't need them. I'm enjoying every step of the natural road. It's long and hard, but I love the grind. Progressing and pushing yourself to the next level. Steroids are like using cheats in a game. Makes it boring and less fun. And back on the diet part. I'm not talking about eating clean, I'm talking about eating smart. 4w
  •   erickallenfranco Difference between eating clean and eating smart? I'm a small dude, about 140 lbs. Not far from where you're at here. I don't feel like I really need to diet per se. I need to eat more but I don't feel like I need to eat X amount of this, and 5 grams of that. Any tips? 4w

  •   mrhartcameron @erickallenfranco if you want to gain size, and you're an ectomorph (doesn't gain weight easily, fat neither) you don't need to really track what you're eating. Just make sure you're getting enough calories in, a moderate protein, moderate fat and high carbs. You don't need to go into the numbers really in order to gain size. And what I meant by eating smart, is weighing up your food, and using a calorie/macro tracker such as the smartphone app myfitnesspal to make sure your diet is on point. It's only really really crucial when you're cutting. 4w
