  • mayhemfest The Jeff Hanneman Memorial Celebration will take place on Thursday, May 23 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles from 3:30 - 7:30PM. Hanneman passed away on May 2 at the age of 49.
    The Memorial Celebration will be free and open to the public on a first-come, first-in basis (subject to venue capacity). All ages are welcome, and paid parking will be available around the venue.       2d

They've never sold out(like korn with Freak On A Leash) or do any drugs(most of the bands who, for some unknown reason, can't get a record deal), and yet their posers and they suck with their original lyrics and awesome work ethic. Jealousy is a stinky cologne, people. They'll make millions off these two albums....how much do you make from trolling?   5d
  • stealthy_chels I'm not a diehard fan, but let me tell you about the time I saw them in my hometown. They brought all the children (probably under 13) in the crowd on stage after they noticed some kids who couldn't see over the crowd. I have so much respect for them after seeing them have a blast with a bunch of metal heads in the making. They were probably up there for a full two songs. I don't care who you are, that's fucking cool.   3d

Award cards with no winners written, horrible audio during performances, screen graphics not matching what the presenters were saying, the award itself looks like a toy.   • maureenramos @raijinxviii agreed although I'm thinking the audio Newry have been axs.tv. I remember watching it on vh1 and audio was ok. I think the producers were trying to make it more awesome and over the top and did grammy style duets and crap but... Grammies aren't metal. It would have been better with actual fans in the audience. I imagine the stage tickets were probably expensive as shit so only boneheads could afford them... Or they were given sleeping pills before the show   2w
