marthabindcRandom win for parenting: Not deciding to actually get a tree until a few days ago when B looks up to our building on the way home and says, "I wish we lived in that apartment." "Why so?" "Because they have a Christmas tree." I was going to make a tree on our wall as I did last year & we decorate it, until then. So. To Target. The win? Waited until today to put it up - it's snowing. B doesn't know we have it and is still sleeping. I also bought Swiss Miss & marshmallows. I don't think she knows much about cocoa, or that you can make it at home. Oh - and MN public radio has streaming Christmas music. One more - Trader Joe's scone mix. They're in the oven.
So yay. A new little tradition. With our "champagne" tinsel tree, for those who think gold or silver is tacky. Or for when DC Target is out of tall-ish green slim ones;)5d
marthabindcBeen looking for this knife since I moved in May. All the boxes labeled "kitchen" have been unpacked for a few months now. Unpacking today, found it. Wrapped in paper wrapped in B's duvet cover. Totally obvious packing place for a knife. #whatthehellwasithinking3w
marthabindcThis apartment building was built in the 40s. I imagine myself living with a videographer and the films to be made. B&W, Hitchcockian shorts - vignettes drawing the ordinary & the particular.3w
