maksiekeaMy Ancestors ~ This is the Yunker Family of Fargo, ND (circa 1960.) On the far right is my mother (she's about 11 yrs old) and next to her is my grandmother and my grandfather next to her. I have never seen this photo before and I thinks it's pretty awesome. Anyone who grew up in Fargo or Moorhead probably has heard of the Yunker Children's Museum. My ancestors donated the big farm and its land to the city and back in early 1990 it was opened as the museum. I was blessed enough that I was able to bring 2 of my own daughters to the museum a few years ago. #yunkerfamily#farm#throwback#circa1960#childrensmuseum#blackandwhitephoto#Yunkerfarm#family#instagood1mon
maksiekea@paulcw3 If any of them grew up close to Mpls and St. Paul than there is a big likelihood that I know or have met a few of your cousins
paulcw3 They did @maksiekea I've been there myself a few times, one year I went to St. Paul for the winter just to Learn how to live in Sub-Zero :)
maksiekea That's definitely the way to learn! January for me was always the coldest. The reason I moved away 18 years ago was because I knew that in order for me to actually attend college was to fly south. There was NO way I was gonna trek to class in belo zero weatherMy butt would have stayed in bed!!
