m4rzinkaI thought my days of sharing iced tea was over when Snowflake died. Someone has a different idea.4w
rachelhulan I didn't know Snowflake had died. I'm so sad to hear that. She was a special soul to go through everything she did. Glad you at least have someone else to bug you for iced tea. :)
m4rzinka Thanks so much @rachelhulan Snowflake got to be an outdoor deer for the last two months of her life. She stayed in the nursery pasture with this year's baby deer, bunnies and a little squirrel. She was happy being outside, but, with her disabilities, she was not able to really care for herself as we had hoped. She just stopped eating one day and passed the next. It was a short life, but rich & full of love.
rachelhulan I've worked with wildlife in the past, and have seen that sudden failure to thrive as well. Always sad. Thanks for sharing that short but rich life with us.
m4rzinkaAs a wildlife rehabber I am always attentive to animals in need. I rescued these gluten free vegan bats from a local bakery. Upon inspection at some one mysteriously had a big bite taken out of his wing. This morning it was gone! What a mystery.1mon
