lsking So @amy_lijewski, @ponxerella, and @nw98110 tagged my awhile ago for #9ofpride. I know the whole point was to look back and pick your favorite nine images. Well, as many of you know, that can be really difficult when each feels like flesh and blood. Everyday I have a new favorite. So, to meet this challenge I decided to do new images created from the drive home between Maryland and Virginia. 16h

What with my head in a must of pain yesterday...I am not completely sure who tagged me or if I was tagged. ;) I think it was @galvanized07 (and if not, huge apologies to all involved). Also special thanks to @ponxerella for providing an inspiration on how to present this. And, if my traveling friend @cpittman703 is up to it, I would love to see her version of this challenge! You just have to see her beautiful portrayal of Biltmore Estate! 1d

I am glad my images provoke positive thoughts for you (someone once asked me if I poured all my depression into my images...and all I could say is that I pour all of me into them...the good, the bad, the ugly, and the fleeting wisp of beauty). As for the headaches, I am loath to call them migraines as the insurance world is so very touchy. I suspect this one was brought on by both the weather and stress, but I truly am compassionate to all those who share the pain. Yes, lets do send healing/preventative thoughts to one another! lsking @stefano50 You are so kind! Most of my work is from Virginia, Tennessee, and Maryland. This series was actually made on a trip between Virginia and Maryland on Highway Interstate 81. Perhaps one day we all need to do an Instagram swap. IWe can all play tour guides to each other? 1d
