leannavs@sarahbraim foods to eat!: pelmeni (you may not be able to eat these, meat dumpling, same with "vereniki" which are dumplings with fruit, sour cherry etc), blini/blinchiki (crepe/pancake) borscht, shishlyk, (beef kebab with veg) ikra (caviar) salat olivye (potato salad), kholodetz (basically a meat jello, I'd never go near it but people like it!), kompot (like a fruit punch where they boil fruit-it's amazing), pickled tomatoes, selodka (herring, you can also put it in a potato with sour cream). I'll storm up some others!!!!
