kayseeleong Patuxai - Vientiane's very own Arc de Triomphe replica with beautiful Buddhist embellishment. There's a sign in English inside the monument and labels it as 'monster of concrete' and the concrete in question was donated by the US. 4w

kayseeleong Monks at dawn collecting alms from kneeling locals along Sakkaline Street. The morning alms round (in Lao: Tak Bat) is a living Buddhist tradition for the people of Luang Prabang, which because of its beauty has become a major tourist attraction. However, inappropriate behaviours from various tourists have reduced the authenticity and beauty of this ritual, which has great meaning to the locals here in Luang Prabang.

Just check out the white dude in his fabulous straw hat on the left. #luangprabang #laos #takbat

kayseeleong Wat Xieng Thong (Luang Prabang, Laos). A bunch of us were just squatting in front of the temples, waiting with our cameras on standby so we can get a proper photo without any humans in it. And yay, I finally get wifi #luangprabang #laos 1mon
