instagodministries It's so easy to trust God when everything is going just right...your bank account is full, you don't have to face hardships and tribulations. It's easy to trust God when you have a job, when you're in good health, when you're in your right mind, when your close ones are still alive, when your marriage and household is in order.ฺ

As believers, many of us like to feel comfortable. We like to know the business is operating properly, making sure the doors and alarm is on, and that we have transportation to and back. We can quote scripture, dance/shout, fall in the spirit, speak in tongues..But, what do you do when you hear bad news? How do you handle losing something you love? Where do you go when no one is around to comfort you and encourage you? These are the questions that many are faced with on today!ฺ

The minds of many Christians aren't a reality because in this world you're going to face trouble (John 16:33), hate, hardships. We give the devil so much credit for everything we go through. Sometimes it's not always caused by him. Sometimes it's us and sometimes it's a test from God (Acts 17:11). Don't think God won't put through anything...If I may recall, Jesus was led by The Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by Satan. Nothing can happen to you without Gods permission. Job was a righteous man of God who God allowed Satan to test him. But how would've Job ever quoted, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him:” without going through the struggle. How would've Abraham know God was a provider unless he was tested to sacrifice his son. How would've The Three Hebrew Boys know God was their protection if they were never thrown in the fire. How would've Mary and Martha know Jesus was life unless their brother Lazarus experienced death. I don't know who I'm preaching to but if you're going through a test there's a lesson in the struggle!ฺ

In the struggle I've learned where my help comes from, I've learned I won't be consumed but covered by the blood, I've learned He'll carry you through your darkest time, I just want to encourage somebody today, to stay in the race. He's beginning in a good work in you that He will complete! Trust God.

instagodministries Nothing you've been through has been wasted. I know at times you feel you've wasted time, years, and every that you can't regain again; a job, a marriage, a relationship, your health, the sacrifices, giving your time and service, and giving up something you loved up for God that broke your heart. You sit back and wonder, "Will I ever be happy again-- was everything I've been through worth the pain, the tears, the sleepless nights, the embarrassment." It's just preparation.

Where you are now is no accident... What has happened to you didn't take God by surprise. He already initiated a plan of escape before you were formed; mistakes, setbacks, disappointments, things outside your control.. The plan was already made! I don't know your story but only you and God know your story. He took you from bad company, He took you from rape, He took you from suicide, He took you when you were at your lowest, He took you when nobody wanted you, He took you when your money was low, He took you when you had kids outside of marriage... Why? Because He saw potential in you!ฺ

As God as my witness it gets lonely at times. Life can be fearful when you don't know what to expect when you feel everything has been stripped away...When you feel there's no hope... When you wonder how much longer do I have to wait. Who wants to feel rejection or disappointments.. But it's in those moments when we experience the faithfulness of God! I want to encourage whoever I'm speaking to, to hold on! Joseph was in prison for years because of his brothers before he became king. He wasn't expecting that... In other words what God has for you is something bigger than you've imagine. It's so much greater and better than what you had at first. It's something you never thought about or even prayed for because nothing you've been through has been wasted. Your situation is going change suddenly because all it did was reposition you for a blessing. God is getting ready to move! You're frustrated because you're on the verge. You're restless because you're on the verge. Your moment is coming sooner than you think!

instagodministries This is going to be an informal read because tonight, I just wanna talk to you-- that's all. I'm tired of the whining, the complaining, and the self pity from people who caused things to not work out because they chose to not work it out. We come across all these quotes/sayings encouraging people to let go and move on. Hence... That is true at times; however, sometimes you gotta stay and fight. You gotta fight for your job, you gotta fight for your peace, you gotta fight for your family, you gotta fight for your marriage, you gotta fight for your stuff, you gotta fight for your assignments!ฺ

Too many men wanna thrown in the towel in their marriage. Too many men wanna give up on everything that challenges them. Too many women wanna give up on a relationship because of one small problem that could've easily been resolved if you weren't in your feelings. Too many women wanna do want they wanna do. As a people we don't like to be challenge. We take that as an offense or an attack; we're too personal. We don't like to be outside of our comfort zone. We like to feel comfortable...like being in the bed all day, sitting down watching tv, on the phone doing nothing to better our lives.ฺ

All we got is a bunch of sorry excuses: "Oh... This job wasn't for me anyway." No, you just didn't do your part to get the job. "This class is so hard I'm going to drop it and switch." No, you're just lazy because you're used to cheating, getting by, and easy work. "My marriage could've worked out." You right, but you didn't care enough to talk it out and your vows to one another or to God weren't sincere anyway. Last time I read my bible love endures all kinds of hardships..why you wanna quit and run away every time there's a problem. But I wanna encourage you and to let you know you're built out of something! You got this! Stop quitting! The cross Jesus had to carry a long way to a hill called Calvary. Do you think it was easy!? The weight of sin... The beatings He took... But yet, He refused to quit! I don't know who I'm speaking to, but you got what it takes! Don't you dare quit!

instagodministries “Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord; do not touch any unclean thing, and I will welcome you.” (2 Corinthians 6:17)

Many of you are stumbling in your walk with God daily because you're around the wrong crowd of people. A tree gets its source from the ROOT in order to be fed. Therefore, what you sow into you WILL reap some sort of harvest from it. If you sow quality time into people who are filled with unclean spirits. You'll see the harvest of it in some way in your demeanor. You need to address the ROOT of your problem with the Word of God, prayer, and fasting.ฺ

Don't be fooled. Everyone isn't saved (that's where the spirit of discernment comes to play -- being able to righteously judge spirits). When God has a calling on your life Satan will send all kinds of distractions to keep you off course from completing what God has started. Spirits of the enemy are to attract your flesh so when your flesh is weak you draw yourself to spirits of lust, perversion, profanity, immorality, fits of rage, drama, i.e-- it becomes enticing and you find yourself acting out those spirits and then you become convicted, depressed, and frustrated. This is one of the prime reasons some Christians are an unbalanced/ inconsistent spirit; One day they're up, one day they're down. One moment they're praising, next moment they're cussing and arguing. One day they're speaking to you, the next day they're ignoring you... Because they're dancing with the devil throughout their week and wanna praise God on Sunday and still can't figure out why they're going through hell.

Why go back to what God freed you from? Why surround yourself around what you used to do? Your spiritual condition is more valuable then desperately wanting the wrong kind of people in your life. There are some people you just can't be around especially if your spirit isn't full. Don't allow your emotions to manipulate you... Know that Jesus is the one who will give you the strength to get through the hurt and pain of letting go. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

instagodministries In Matthew 14:22-33 we encounter a situation with fear and faith. The disciples were on the boat headed to the other side. Mean while a strong wind risen. The boat was still floating but they allowed the circumstance (the wind) to come in the inside of them and bring fear. People can float through their circumstances without allowing it to get in them but when you allow the circumstance to get in you, you sink. Not only were they afraid of their circumstance but they were afraid of the solution. Here comes Jesus walking on the water but the disciples couldn't recognition Him, why, because it's hard to recognize God in a storm. They thought it was a ghost. Jesus was the solution but they are as afraid of the solution as they are the situation.ฺ

Most people when they're faced with these two fears do absolutely nothing. They just stay on the boat (rocking): 'I'm just going to stay here at least I know what it is. I'm going to stay at this job at least I know what it is. It may not be what I want but I'm going to stay with him/her at least I know what it is.' That's a trick of the enemy who is stealing your life. You're rocking on the boat of mediocrity and God is bringing you an opportunity but because you're stuck on the boat of mediocrity and you lack the courage to come out of the boat and walk on the opportunity that God has called you to do.ฺ

While the other disciples were in fear Peter cried out, "Lord if its you, tell me to come." What Peter was saying was, 'Yes, I am with them but I'm not like them. They choose to tremble and remain in the boat of mediocrity but I choose to walk with you.' It's a spirit that's robbing you from the abundance that God has in store for you. It's a spirit don't won't let you be happy; it's a spirit that won't let you have joy; it's a spirit that keeps bringing up your weakness; it's a sprit that keeps bringing up your past. Jesus died for you to have life more abundantly! How long are you going to rock in the boat? While you're 20, 30, 40, 50, 60. When are you're going to get out the boat?God has more for you! He is not finished with you yet. (Notes by TD Jakes)

instagodministries Life has its moments... Its ups and downs.. And its twist/turns... You never know what you're going to expect until density meets you. Years ago I was in a relationship; you know when you're young and immature, you don't know better. In my mind I was confident that this was for me... Always repeating, "This is who I'm going to spend my life with." But isn't funny how God will sit back for a short while and allow you to go through the choices you make... The group of friends who you shared a history together; that job where you felt most comfortable and satisfied because you were bringing in enough revenue to provide for your family and yourself; that relationship you were in for years that you gave your all to or to the point of engagement.

One day I felt that this was not what it is... But my feelings were used to what was. I don't know who I'm preaching to... Have ever been in place where you were so used/accustom to doing, that one day you just had a feeling that this was not for me anymore. You see, when you have a calling on your life, the Holy Ghost in you can grieve for so long... As I was in church my pastor preached from 1 Kings 19:1-21 and what stood out was "The Call of Elisha" who was plowing in the field and Elijah saw him and threw his cloak over him and something on the inside of Elisha was letting him know that your plowing days are over... It's time to step into your next level! I was in tears when the Lord spoke through my pastor as he said, "God is calling some of you..."ฺ

Ever since that day... What I thought I wanted, I didn't want anymore. What I desired, I didn't desire anymore. You see... When you're called... You're different. It's something about the call, that separates you from who used to call your friends. It's something about the call, that tells you to leave your job because He has a greater assignment. It's something about the call, that tells you to break off the relationship or engagement because that's not the one who's going to be with you throughout your calling. I know it's hurts but God is your Healer. People are not going to understand what God has called you to do but don't let it stop you.. Walk in obedience!

instagodministries Many of us are begging God to change our situation around. We're growing tired of holding on and seeing no change. But, God has a greater purpose for your situation. In this life we will face complications of all kind: affliction, critics, disappointments, frustration, difficult people, spiritual warfare, etc.ฺ

Don't focus on your situation because what you're going through is only a process to get you to where you're going. God has a plan for you says in Jeremiah 29:11. To prosper you... When we hear the word prosper we think money, cars, boats, clothes, jewelry but that's not the context in which the scripture is saying. Prosper in its hebrew context means 'shalom aleichem' peace be upon you. The people in the book of Jeremiah were going through tough times and they were hungry for a Word to keep them in their right mind and to keep them going. God used Jeremiah who too was going through to encourage God's people to be prosperous in their health, in their heart, and mind and that's only by the promises of God which brings peace.ฺ

Don't worry about how long you have to wait because you're going to be going through all your life but the feeling will change because of the promises God has on your life. You may be in a bad working environment but God has a plan for you. You may be having problems in your marriage but God has a plan for you. You may be going through financial issues but God has a plan for you. When you think about the promises of God it brings comfort, peace, and confuses the enemy and those who talk about you behind your back. Your going through is a living testimony to show others who are in your situation, that God never left you and through it all you're still here!

instagodministries I had a vision this morning... I was at a field near my campus. There were men, women, and children playing. There was an active sport game happening that I was involved in then those who were participating took a break and rested. I was walking around the field and looked up (it was clear skies) and a few seconds later I saw feathers falling from the sky. I held one in my hand staring at it... It took my attention and people ran from there resting place trying catch a feather. I looked up again and saw a swarm of birds gathered together to my left as though they were preparing to move because they sense bad weather approaching then suddenly huge amounts of hail began to fall swiftly and everyone panicked anxiously with adrenaline pumping were trying to take cover. We ran across the street. I saw a woman holding a baby with two kids on each side struggling and I went over to help. Everyone was covering their heads.ฺ

Eventually the hail ceased. I looked up once more and the skies instantly turned pitch black; this put more fear and trembling in the hearts of the people. I turned to my right and saw the skies breaking behind the building-- lightening was striking intensively in the clouds from each direction (it was something I have never seen before). I yelled, "HE IS REAL! HE IS REAL!" Then someone I knew grab both of my arms and said, "It was mercy... Because it could've been much worse than this." She walked away. People started to gather around- making an alter for themselves, praying and repenting. I woke up.ฺ

The Lord is returning soon for His people. He released a small portion of His wrath to give us warning/another chance. He is real... And He is coming back. This is the day of salvation. Repent! Call on the name of the Lord. Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and shall be saved. Don't get left behind; those times are going to painful... Please turn from your wicked ways and repent... His wrath is not something you want to be caught in because it's much worse than what He showed me. He is coming...
