foodloves Accidentally happened upon an estate sale this morning where Tim found a full set of vintage Matthew Henry commentaries and I found a handmade wool sweater that the maker put her name inside. Still though. This is what happens to everybody's stuff eventually. 2w

  •   bravejuice @foodloves is it okay to just snip the greens right off? Mine greens could be harvested right now, but I don't want to ruin the beet down below! 3w
  •   foodloves @bravejuice these were actually from beets in our CSA... So they got fully harvested. We used the beet roots first ; ) I honestly don't know about snipping the greens beforehand! 3w
  •   peggyeileen88 @bravejuice I'm pretty sure you can it's been years since I've grown beets but I believe I did that w/I any issues. Beet greens are my favorite greens; naturally a bit salty and not at all bitter! I'm going to have to try this!! Thanks @foodloves 3w
  •   foodloves @peggyeileen88 @bravejuice I'd love to hear what you think ! 3w
