fellandfair "Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men?
It is the music of a people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echos the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!"

fellandfair I have been dying to post these pictures for a month! I had the awesome opportunity to make some of the outfits for the @assassinscreed live trailer which they filmed in Paris this week. Special thanks to @devinsupertramp and @allisondredgecostumes for giving me the opportunity! Look for it on YouTube soon! #ACUnity 4d

fellandfair No journey worth making, no road worth traveling, was ever found easy... 5d
  •   fellandfair @akapouf yes, I make it all myself. 5d
  •   akapouf You did a great job ! It's very inspiring ! Do you have a website with tuto ? 5d
  •   brambleandthicket Fantastic 5d
  •   fellandfair @akapouf I am working on it. I am getting some stuff up on Pinterest but to tutorials as of yet. 5d
  •   samuel_price You guys should team up with corridor digital and make a movie, I would watch the heck out of that. 5d
  •   fellandfair @samuel_price that would be cool. Unfortunately we are on different sides of the country. I have recently done some costume work for devinsupertramp. That should be out soon. I would love to do a full video with him, Corridor Digital or Rocket Jump (freddiew) but I do not have the means or time at the moment. 5d
  •   saeth_snowbane Looks incredible. Can't wait to see more! 5d
  •   samuel_price Thank you I've been trying to remember freddiews account for a while now 5d

fellandfair Here in the US we celebrate Independence Day as the day we decided to get rid of England. Conversely, the English refer to it as Thanksgiving given that it marks the day they got rid of us. 1w
  •   fellandfair @diogenesofcarolina I don't think we can take all the credit, but we certainly gave him a push down the road. 1w
  •   blackwaterbushcraft Sorry my bad lol 1w
  •   diverbob1 We Skips just had a referendum... Much less messy.... Happy successful insurgency! 1w
  •   diogenesofcarolina @blackwaterbushcraft an older bit of humor than @fellandfair's clever witticism is the oft repeated saying in these parts that Charleston (SC) is a place were they are not sure the right side won the Revolutionary War and they are very sure the wrong side won in the War Between the States. It is humor tinged with a bit of truth. 1w
  •   sussex72 Usually we just wish our American cousins a great day :) 1w
  •   fellandfair @sussex72 two co-op world war wins tend to subdue old grudges 1w
  •   swirlingleaves1 Very funny @fellandfair 7d
  •   sussex72 Lol,with a nation as old as ours grudges would be pointless,we'd end up hating half the planet ,I think apart from the odd idiot on both sides we get on better then most , 4d

  •   mattunbreakable Zan your costume work is astounding 2w
  •   fellandfair Thanks so much @mattunbreakable! 2w
  •   diogenesofcarolina The creation of your images is incredible in all aspects from the clothing and weapons, story lines, quotes, and participants to the photography. These are present day tableau reminiscent of those produced during the Restoration period in England. I did not know this corner of the State was occupied by such attractive and talented young ladies and gentlemen before stumbling upon your work. 2w

fellandfair First, strike at soldier with sword, then block his backhanded swing. Strike face with sword pommel to discombobulate, break left index finger and take musket. Use musket to break knee. Bring musket to full cock, drop to knee behind soldier, fire at soldier's partner. Repeat as necessary. In summary: face bleeding, finger and knee broken and partner dead. Physical recovery, four weeks, psychological recovery, never. 3w
  •   kitschnyc epic. 3w
  •   tony_stark82 Description Like sherlock holmes.. 3w
  •   knightcore101 If u did fire the musket that close to his head he would also become deaf 3w
  •   fellandfair @knightcore101 not really. It would be loud and his ears would be ringing for a bit, but the muzzle is past his ear so the majority of the sound would go past him. Even if it was not, it would not be that bad. I have stood on the front rank of a musket line during volley fire and the muskets are about the same distance from your ears. 3w
  •   knightcore101 Wow really? Ok. 3w
  •   fellandfair @knightcore101 yep. The human ear is surprisingly resilient. 3w
  •   kavik3 I can attest, having actually had a musket fired accidentally far too close to my ear, that it does indeed not deafen you. Risky lil guns those flintlocks... :S 3w
  •   charleslionheart Crime is common, logic is rare. 3w

fellandfair I have been very busy working on some awesome projects recently but it means my private projects are suffering. I did find I have almost all the stuff for a decent Assassin Creed: Black Flag variant outfit. So you will have to enjoy some Assassin creed pictures until I can get back to some LotR/medieval stuff! 3w

fellandfair "No archer ever lived that could speed a gray goose shaft with such skill and cunning as his, nor were there ever such yeomen as the sevenscore merry men that roamed with him through the greenwood shades. Right merrily they dwelled within the depths of Sherwood Forest, suffering neither care nor want, but passing the time in merry games of archery or bouts of cudgel play, living upon the King’s venison, washed down with draughts of ale of October brewing." #RobinHoodLivingTheLife 4w

  •   fellandfair @diogenesofcarolina we just have adventures, and prefer to do it in the raiment on an age not our own. 1mon
  •   diogenesofcarolina @fellandfair You do it very well,Sir. Stay clear of the Steel Bonnets of the Lower Marches if they are Laird Maxwell's men. They have set fire to Locmaben Castle so Maxwell says to give Lady Johnstone enough light to dress for his midnight visit. 1mon

fellandfair There is a certain mad joy, a euphoric passion, that comes upon a man only when caught up in a cavalry charge and when he falls in love with a women. Both are as overwhelming as a tidal wave and equally deadly. The two are vastly different, yet inexplicably linked. Men set spurs to their horses, draw bright steel and ride towards a screaming foe for what? Sometimes for king, for country, for a rag on a pole? Most often for a soft touch and a bright smile on a summers day, a thousand miles from the gory field. Battle-lust comes upon us in both struggles, and mortal men have yet to find a defense against it. 1mon
  •   timcaiello Is that an original quote Zane? If so, well said indeed! 1mon
  •   fellandfair @timcaiello yes, it came from something I was thinking about the other night. I thought I would write it down before I forgot. 1mon
  •   timcaiello Sounds like it could have come from the pen of JEB Stuart or Wade Hampton! Might warrant a full essay! (Also, my autocorrect seems to think you're in the Zane Grey vein: also high praise.) 1mon
  •   springraine73 This is fantastic. Well said. 1mon
  •   a_davis_sanders All you need is love. 1mon
  •   bladesofbelaq Question: what are some of your favorite battle cries, English or otherwise? 1mon
  •   fellandfair @bladesofbelaq good question! A personal favorite is the dwarven, "Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu!" Meaning, "The axes of the dwarves! The dwarves are upon you!". I also like Henry V's, "Cry God for Harry, England and St. George!" Another good cry used in literature is simply the name of your great leader, like, "A Loxley!" Or "A Wallace!" Aragorn uses a similar cry, "Elendil!" 1mon

fellandfair "Demons run when a good man goes to war." Remembering all those good men who went to war, never to return, this Memorial Day. Rest in peace and glory eternal my brothers in arms... I had some extra time and leather so I thought this would be an appropriate project for this weekend. 2mon
