eatmekoreaMIST 명품 수제 라멘: this is a Michelin starred restaurant inside D-Cube City in Shindorim. If you love ramen, this is the place to go for elegant ramen. Ramen is usually a cheap hole in the wall street food, but this one has a bit more pizazz. Here is one of their spicy ramen with an extra slice of pork. The broth is just rich of flavors and the noodles and candy.
eatmekoreaModum Jeon(모듬전): here are various meats and vegetables that are battered and fried to greasy sogginess. Flavors vary between each cake of meat, but all goes well with some Korean rice alcohol. This dish was looking at about $20 for this dish. Eat if you like fries stuff.
_ancer Hello ..I love your account and the food that you post it looks yummy .I'm planning on going to Seoul next month and I was wondering if you could recommend some restaurants and places to go to .. thanks & wish you the best @eatmekorea5d
eatmekoreaPotatoZip (감자집): i ran into this place while exploring the area around Gyeongbukgung. It's along an area hikers pass as they come back down the mountain in Seoul. The place is tiny, but you will recognize it by it's line. The fries are decent and most likely frozen, but it's still good. The sauces add a great flavor to their fries. The main thing i enjoyed was their citron beer(유자맥주). If you like Blue Moon, you'll enjoy this beer.
eatmekoreaCheese Topokki with Soondae (치즈떡순이): School Food is one of my favorite places to eat in Korea. It's pretty much over priced street food but i love it. This spicy goodness adds great taste with the Korean blood sausage type yummies. The cheese kind of cools down the spiciness...but still, i get the sweats eating this.
eatmekoreaSoftree (소프트리): this ice cream is to die for. This is the new trend of having a piece of honey comb along with an organic homemade vanilla ice cream. i can do without the honeycomb, but Jesus...the ice cream is soooo good. Beware of possible bee larvae emerging.
eatmekoreaCafe Leeman's (카페 리맨즈): this restaurant is in the basement area of Time Square Mall next to the crowded Jjampong/Pizza place that always has a line. Since the restaurant next to this place is super crowded, we decided to just eat here. They have a really neat menu in newsletter format. Pictured here is their budaejjigae ramyeon. Good good good.
eatmekoreaJaYeon (자연): this restaurant is in the Incheon Airport restaurant area. It's a Sheraton Walkerhill restaurant, so it's a bit on the pricey side. Pictured is their seafood tofu stew with grilled makerel. My girlfriend said it taste better than the usual mom and pops version, but to me, it was the first Korean dish since i'd just arrived from America...so it was always good.
eatmekoreaLeBrunchic (르 브뤈식): this brunch place serves great breakfast food anytime. pictured here are their salmon eggs benedict. the eggs flowed so gloriously over the plat leaving my mouth watering.
eatmekoreaBennigan's: if i'm ever flying out of Korea (Incheon International), I will ALWAYS eat here in the airport. i guess from the beginning, Bennigan's was a restaurant Butters (South Park) always mentioned. There is only 1 location in California (not even So Cal). But here is what i usually order...their Monte Cristo. Nothing beats a powdered sugar fried battered sandwich before getting on a plane. (Cali Digestion 22)
eatmekoreaRed Lobster: these cheddar bay biscuits are practically a meal for me at any of these joints. In my opinion, the entree just supports these delicious goodness. Yes, they aren't that healthy, but my stomach is satisfied. (Cali Disgestion 21)
eatmekoreaRed Ribbon Bakery: this is one of my favorite cakes while in California. A delicious mango cake with cream to satisfy my sweet tooth while back in in SoCal is the way to go. They also have a round cake if you want more mangoness. (Cali Digestion 20)
eatmekoreaCinnabon: if you haven't had some of this ooey, gooey work of edible art, then you haven't experience much i your life. It's so tempting to bite into another piece after you've just finished your first one. If you get them to go, remember to ask for extra cream to clog your heart. Yum yum.
eatmekoreaSeashore Seafood Restaurant: while i visited my godmother in Redondo Beach, she brought me to this restaurant in Torrance. From the outside, it seemed kind of dirty, but it was fine. The food was fresh seafood 'cause it is kind of by the beach. We ordered a lot of food from fish to lobster. Pictured is their noodle dish with special sauce and a pound and a half of lobster. Yum yum. (Cali Digestion 18)
eatmekoreaOlive Garden: it's the Italian restaurant most people refer to. I love their endless salad and breadsticks even if they are not good for you. They are definitely a stomach filler. Not much room left for the entrees, but good thing they offer breadsticks to go so u can make a later meal with the leftovers.
