datulakan #Bakunawa literally means #eclipse wherein one celestial body partially or completely obsecures the other. In the visayan region, eclipses happen for a reason, to them, eclipses also happen because of a creature named "Bakunawa". Not to confuse anyone, bakunawa refers to an eclipse and also a creature that causes the eclipse. The Myth says that the Earth once had 7 moons. The Bakunawa loved it so much that he imagined eating one of the moons, since there are many moons, nobody would notice it. He ate one moon and loved it glowing in his stomach. However, he ate all the other moons except one. Whenever he tries to eat the moon, the locals would try to make noise in order to drive the bakunawa out. The bakunawa will throw up the moon putting it back in its place and the moon is shining again. They say that the moon looks red because it shines through the belly of the bakunawa. Total Eclipse will occur on April 14th and 15th, 2014. It will be visible in Australia, Pacific and the Americas. Viewing times for North America will be the night of April 14th into the morning of April 15th
